Jamming through Gary Moore’s Marshall JCM 2000 which was his main live head from 1997 - 2008. Along with the prototype DSL I posted about previously these were his two main amps during that period but this one was used a lot more live. This is the amp he... used for the Fender 50th Anniversary performance and many more including the Thin Lizzy / Phil Lynott Reunion in 2006. The last appearance was the most recent live album release from Beloise in 2008. I’m using one of Gary’s Les Paul’s that he had fitted with Bare Knuckle PG Blues pickups. All 4 were JCM 2000 DSL 100 Heads, all were Gary’s. His main two and two back up touring heads. Will probably sell or mod the back up heads

I’m not sure if a lot of people remember this but when Mike Tomlin was a rookie head coach he was so obsessed with practice that he nearly doubled the amount of two-a-days that the Steelers usually had. Ed Bouchette even did an entire piece on this at the time. It was also one of the longest training camps the Steelers had. But after the team faded at the end of 2007, Tomlin blamed himself when most head coaches would likely stay the course and force his players to get used the rigorous schedule. For any fans of Steelers history, staying such a course would likely bring to mind Bill Austin. But Tomlin did what Austin didn’t. He changed his practice schedule. Changed how he approached training camp. Changed what he personally focused on during practice.
