Reddit user WeirdConcern4666 created a Starfield mod that lets you exit your ship in space, fly around, and land/walk on asteroids. Apparently they were able to create an outpost on an asteroid too. #Starfield

The creator shared this information on how they created this: player.setpos x 10 setgravityscale 0 on the console, be sure that you are at the cockpit and you are not controlling the ship. to desactivate just use your scan to teleport to the ship and then setgravityscale 1.

Correction: this can be done with the console command in the reply above. I confused it for a mod.

The fact that Outpost building seems very little touched upon in game and the fact that Zero g Combat exists but is used in very limited circumstances. Makes me thinks that there'll he a DLC that may allow EVAs and Spacestation construction
