Referee Jim McCluskey got the 2000 Scottish Cup Final as his last game as a ref… Rod Wallace breaks Aberdeen keeper Jim Leighton’s jaw after 2 minutes and an outfield player has to take Leighton’s place in goal. No red card for Wallace.

You really are mentally challenged, aren’t you?

Why are you being so cruel?

Referee Jim McCluskey in some other games. Celtic player Alan Stubbs was reffed by Jim McCluskey on occasion.

Remember that foul in 1936 cup final

Remember Rangers?

Yep......so do you......every day & night

Lest we forget.

You won't........ever

Jeezo, you do realise he was going for a 50/50 st the time and contacted the ball before the player. Great clips though...keep digging through space and time for more!

Come on now, you can’t go about giving a green light to kicking goalkeepers in the head and breaking their jaws, can you? Is that what you want?

@physicsman79 To you, both instances are the same? One where the keeper has the ball in his hands and then the player motions towards their head and the other where it’s a clear 50/50? The ball is on the ground, the place where you’d expect footballers to try and hit it with their feet

@physicsman79 Of course they aren’t the same, it’s different games with different sides and players and keepers. One is very dangerous with lots of force causing damage and another one is a flick of the boot towards the ball as it’s gathered.

@physicsman79 Very good use of a lie, “as it’s gathered” that would make you think he boots him as he takes the ball into his hands, Butland fully has the ball under control, Trusty isn’t even going for it, then decides to kick him in the head, Leighton never has the ball at any point

@physicsman79 Sure, it can seem more like that the more you slow it down, but it really isn’t. But you are welcome to your opinion, I suppose.

Nearly 3 decades and it still consumes your mind 🤣 this is glorious to see

The nostalgia, eh? You remember Rangers?

I just don’t like kicking keepers in the head, that’s all. If that is a crime, then I’m guilty.

He and I share a surname, but not much else. I believe Rangers never lost an OF game he refereed, and having been to a few, I believe it. Cheat.

You really are mentally challenged pal. 2 differing scenarios. 2 differing outcomes. 1 is an attempt win the ball, the other is a blatant attempt to kick out when the ball is already secured. Keep trying dipshit. Im sure you'll get something right 1 day..🤣🤣

Differing to what?

You seem to be claiming Wallace breaking Leightons jaw in a 50/50 challenge is comparable to Butland being assaulted by Trusty. 🤔

Where is this?

That’s triggered them 👌

My existence triggers them.

This is were you always go wrong. You always do to much end up losing the debate by yourself. The balka there to won

Excuse me kind sir, please point out the inaccuracy of where I went wrong?

@Mark58941896710 Not much uproar about the Hart one either.

@Mark58941896710 Fast forward to the cup semi final. Wow. Lots of chat about taking players eyes out with boots and stamping on their head, and it now being allowed, did you hear about that?

That’s not a red 🤷🏻♂️

You are mentally unwell, trawling back 25 years to find nothing incidents 🤔 It's Friday, try and enjoy your weekend 😁

Speedy recovery Jack Butland eh 😂😂

It’s barely a foul. Unfortunate for the keeper. Is there some long standing thought that this should have attracted more censure from the ref? Can’t see it

You are seriously gonna have a stroke. What a fuckn weirdo.

Why on earth would that be a red card? 50/50 ball. Striker entitled to go for it with no eyes but for the ball, Leighton brave and very unlucky.

Football wasn't as soft 25 years ago, genuine attempt to score. Foul yes, nothing more. It'd be nice to get back to this.

Does being a prick come easy to you or do you have to practice

50 / 50 ball. What a donkey.

Rightly so it wasnt given as a red as well. Im affraid the ball was there to go for. The outcome was unfortunate for Leighton. Good goalkeeping but Wallace had a right to go for it.

Red card? It wasn't even a foul.

neutral, probably because it was an accident. accidents happen. need to move on i think

It was a 50/50 and never a red. You can blame the SFA for their retarded rules back then as to why you didn't have a GK on the bench.

Yeah, you're right. Leighton should have got a red card for throwing his head into Rod Wallace thigh.

Unfortunate. Didn’t the same thing happen to Theo Snelders, another Aberdeen keeper v rangers. That would be really unfortunate?

Because the ball was there to be won you dozy bastard. Trustee planted his left foot before he took the swipe with his right, more time than enough to withdraw from it, but he didn’t. Green tinted glasses on there dickhead.

he literally dives into his foot you nugget

Why would it be a red card when the ball is there to be won and it’s an accidental collision? I swear football is a contact sport

What a fucking gimp

Billy Dodds looks apoplectic that he's stopped the play for Leighton's broken jaw . Also Billy Dodds " Trusty dragged his studs down Jack Butlands face .

Doubt he would get a red for that nowadays tbh

He didn’t deserve to be red carded but it was a disgrace you could only name 3 subs for the final back then. That rule changed right away but totally ruined this match.

Correct decision 👍

A very crowded field but there's a good chance you're the most mental fucker on this app, keep up the good work. 🫡😆

Top keeper
