This week highlighted a real problem with free-speech in the Welsh Parliament. When you have the Presiding Officer telling elected members they can't use language 'that has the potential to inflame debate', you don't have debate at all. Parliaments are exactly where difficult debates should be had, but these restrictive rules stifle such arguments, forcing Senedd Members to be silent on the issues that they were voted in for. Mark my words, Reform will always fight for free-speech. If that means some of us are kicked out of the Chamber for doing so, so be it.

Farage has created a big problem for himself this week. He's been caught out lying. Again. Telling us all that Reform UK didn't promise to cut taxes on their pre-election propaganda material. Another Trump move. The ole 'deny reality and get angry' two-step. Unfortunately for Nige, there are receipts. Lots and lots of receipts — see the video below. When Beth Rigby challenged him on this yesterday, he got angry and started shouting at her; textbook fragile toxic misogyny. Unfortunately, Beth retreated as Reform UK pay good money for the publicity and no one can be seen to upset the apple cart. It's quite shocking, actually. Regardless, Farage is a shameless liar that does very little for his actual job, if anything. If he could point to Clacton on a map, his constituents would be very surprised. So, this Thursday in the Kidsgrove Central and Ravenscliffe Ward, there’s a £15k re‑run of the May local election because the elected Reform UK candidate couldn’t be bothered to sign the required paperwork within the statutory period. That candidate, Liv Westcott (formerly Wonzy), also has the front to stand again. Voters ought to send her a clear message, but I’m not convinced they will. I suspect apathy and a low turnout, and she’ll end up back on the council. If only she’d spent a fraction of the time she devoted to canvassing for the Pervy Plumber in Makerfield on simply signing the paperwork needed to serve the people of Kidsgrove Central and Ravenscliffe.

Andy Burnham has just signalled a major push to make more welfare benefits conditional. In his interview with Laura Kuenssberg, the Prime Minister was asked directly: “Specifically, as your plans stand, do they include removing benefits from anyone or reducing benefits for anyone?” Burnham replied: “It’s about changing the nature of the support and making some of the support conditional upon people taking opportunities that are presented in front of them.” He’s talking about reforming the system so that support is tied to engaging with available jobs, training or other opportunities, not simply handed out with no strings attached. The welfare bill is costing an absolute fortune and is completely unsustainable. Starmer tried to reform it and it blew up in his face. Burnham is now having a go, let’s hope he actually delivers meaningful change this time. If they really want public support, they should start by stopping foreign nationals from receiving benefits altogether. That single move would have huge backing across the country because far too many people can see the system is being abused. Time for real reform.

You also draw negative attention to yourself internationally. MMA is a global sport and UFC is the pinnacle of the sport. So then he started losing supporters and attracting criticism ... but continued on his arrogant high horse, believing that his commitment to ZANU would pay off. Then when was CHOKED OUT in his last fight and lost consciousness in front of the entire world 😴- he thereafter had a "Damascus moment" when he realized that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of UFC fans around the world were joyous about his humiliation! 😃 Especially when at one point he enjoyed widespread support and a growing fanbase - even the Rock had given him a house in the early days ... before Gorimbo showed himself to be an arrogant, toxic chump. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Then after being choked out he tried to “CHANGE” and win people over again, and started becoming anti-Zanu, etc. And it has worked for some people, but for a lot of OTHER people, including me (who was initially a HUGE fan), the damage had been done... 🙅🏾‍♂️ I always support Zimbabwean athletes and teams PASSIONATELY 🇿🇼 – but this guy has shown his true colours, and I find him to be unsavoury... He’s someone who tried to use his platform to benefit from the REGIME. He supported OPPRESSION and mocked the suffering of Zimbabweans, and efforts of the opposition. He is NOT a good guy. 😏 He is only now pretending to be in support of the PEOPLE because he has seen how supporting dictators will negatively affect his MMA career. It actually may be too late for him to redeem himself because even on the MMA twitterverse, I see a LOT of people from around the world posting negatively about his arrogance. They are also calling him a SCAMMER because of the library he had said he was building “in his village” and apparently people donated money, but there is ZERO library in existence 🤔- and when he has been pressed to explain he has been saying to critics that he built ¾ of the library and then he had to tear it down for some reason... 👀 I will always view him as a “ZANU fighter” because that’s what he proudly was for a long time, and has now realized his miscalculation ... and trying to pretend to be otherwise. Anyway, good luck to him. Because these days KARMA is visiting him.

➡️ The ZANU fighter was just defeated by a 60-year old guy. 😌 This guy, Themba Gorimbo, had the support of most Zimbabweans when he entered the UFC, because – what a great achievement and representation for our country! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 🇿🇼 Then, he made the quintessential error that many shallow Zimbabweans who find fame MAKE – he involved himself in regime politics ... because he saw it as a way to make a quick fortune. 💰💰 He started to ride high on ARROGANCE, and use his platform to insult and mock the opposition movement while promoting ED and ZANU PF regularly. He is especially known for stalking Winky D, and posting negative comments and mockeries about him, in order to please his ZANU masters. He thought that if he placed himself on the buttered side 🧈🍞 – the OPPRESSOR’S side - then he would be on the fast track to wealth, freebies and trinkets. 💵 Amateur mistake. Protesters at Saint Annes police station last night. I have seen in the Echo today that politicians have come out condemning the next protest organised by the same person on County Road next week. Country Road is one of many areas in Liverpool that has undergone massive demographic and cultural change in a short space of time. Many of the locals are upset that this has been done to their home without consulting with any of them. It’s not that they were ignored. They were never part of the decision-making process to begin with. So they are taking to the streets to make themselves heard. And now they are being silenced by the very people that did this to them.
