Not ideal by any means, but good that NASCAR is providing complete clarity as to when the race will end.

Hate it! Start earlier in the day! Ridiculous!

What were the options? Run the race the next day? In one of the busiest areas of Chicago? The course isn’t lit so, night racing is out The race was official after the end of stage 2. Any racing after that was a bonus for fans.

It's avoidable though. @NASCAR needs to do better with start times for venues like this. This could've been a huge win had it started a few hours earlier. Under a different setting I'd be okay with a timed race but this race deserved better IMO

I get why they did it and I appreciate a clearly communicated end time due to daylight. But let's start races earlier in the day at tracks that don't have lights to try to avoid a time clock. Amd, no, I NEVER want to go to "timed" races.

Nope, but I liked it

Why still take stage break and waste time under caution?

I dig it

Not that I really but they probably didn't have much of a choice. Wouldn't be necessary on a track, but a street race in the 3rd largest city on major roads made it necessary. I didn't like it but get the need for it.
