OMG! Forget the Philippines! ... the EU has not sent a single, high-level, diplomatic peace mission to Moscow since 2022. We've never been closer to nuclear conflict. We negotiate for peace with our enemies - not our friends. Kallas is a complete, hypocritical failure.

Ah, the EU’s finally decided that “strategic autonomy” means more than writing another 200-page white paper and scheduling a high-level dialogue for 2031. After decades of treating hard power like an awkward uncle at the family dinner—politely ignoring it while focusing on cheese regulations and carbon tariffs—they’ve now graciously noticed that the Indo-Pacific exists and that freedom of navigation isn’t just a nice slogan for the annual ASEAN cocktail reception. Better late than never… by about 15 strategy documents, three geopolitical wake-up calls, and one entire decade of watching everyone else do the heavy lifting.

We value this visit on such a meaningful day, when we remember the Chornobyl disaster and the colossal solidarity and selflessness of our people, which made it possible to protect our country and our entire region, all of Europe and the world from an even greater radiation catastrophe. I spoke about the meeting between the Ukrainian and American teams in Jeddah and the efforts to bring a just and lasting peace closer. Ukraine is ready to take the first quick steps to achieve peace and is doing everything possible for this. We discussed defense support for our state, as well as Austria's and Portugal's assistance in the reconstruction of schools, creation of school shelters, restoration of energy infrastructure, and the humanitarian initiative "Food from Ukraine."

I met with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel. We are grateful for the assistance to our people in the fight for freedom, consistent support of Ukraine's path to the EU, and for the warm attitude toward our people who have found refuge from the war in these countries.
