President Trump said last week that in less than 5 months we’re going to defeat Joe Biden & take back our country. The election is more than a year away; however, this is not the first time he’s implied this will happen in less than a year. And those that follow Trump closely know he never minces words. Kevin McCarthy is out, and Matt Gaetz said today that Trump is happy with this move despite what the media claims. And a lot of people are pushing for Trump to become the next Speaker of the House. Is this part of the plan to get Trump back in the White House before the election? If so, this is certainly a Black Swan event I can get behind!

The whole process of putting together the "I hate cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written. The bluebird last night was a special way to celebrate the ending of these last two years, and the start of something new👏🏼
