RoboCop is probably my favourite movie. I've no problem with them doing new takes. The original will always exist and there's always a chance they can produce something relevant and entertaining. If it has heart, satire and ultra violence - I'm onboard.

Are we trying to pretend noone involved in the original robo has made a bad sequel to the classic. It's time to let it go and let Robo be reborn, just not like that bonkers remake ghost in the shell bullshit they slapped his name onto. It's a great story. I'd buy it for a dollar.

Even Robocop 2 which is a good sequel could not capture the magic of the first movie. But they'll try. They will keep trying to reboot these franchises without giving us Robocop Vs Terminator.
