Andrew Leigh fancies himself a serious economist, yet here he is, slithering around as Labor’s pathetic mouthpiece, shamelessly spruiking their con job on so-called “supermarket price gouging". A 1 MW (1,000 kW) wind turbine that produces 2,190,000 kWh of electricity during a year has achieved a capacity factor of 25%. That is 2,190,000 kWh divided by 1,000 kW x 8,760 hours; or 2,190,000 divided by 8,760,000 = .25). When they tell you a 2 MW wind turbine can power 500 homes in reality it can only power 125 homes but that also requires the ramping up and down of coal/natural gas/nuclear or hydro plants. Wind and solar can never power society no matter what the politicians and green grifters tell you. In fact if they are telling you this, they are lying. If they tell you battery backup is the answer remember the $5 billion Tesla “Gigafactory” in Nevada which is the world’s biggest battery manufacturing facility can only store three minutes’ worth of annual U.S. electricity demand. #GreenEnergy

Want to make farming more sustainable? You're going to need a LOT more labor. We already know how to grow food without synthetic chemicals; humans were doing it thousands of years ago. But it required 80%+ of the population to be working in the fields tending to each plant. That is NOT a world we want to go back to. What if we could bring back the labor without putting humans back in the fields? A lot of sustainable alternatives aren't impossible. They are just too labor-intensive: • Scouting every plant • Mechanically removing weeds • Treating individual plants instead of entire fields Robots don't magically make farming sustainable. But they can make precise, plant-by-plant labor cheap and abundant again. Sustainable farming doesn't just need better chemicals or better farming practices. It needs cheap, intelligent labor. That's what we're building at Rowve. 🤖🌱

Just a house, a car, kids, and stability. That world existed. Then America decided cheap labor mattered more than protecting the value of American work. Factories were outsourced. Borders were flooded. Visa programs expanded. Contract labor exploded. Corporations learned something dangerous. When labor becomes unlimited, wages stop rising. CEO's go from being millionaires to billionaires and politicians are relatively cheap. Younger generations see it clearly. When millions more workers flood the market, especially in middle and lower wage jobs, the bargaining power of American workers collapses. Employers no longer compete for labor. Labor competes for employers. Construction wages flatten. Entry-level jobs disappear. Young men work two or three jobs and still cannot get ahead. Marriage and family formation get delayed. Home ownership collapses for the next generation. We were told this would not hurt American workers. It has. Immigrants, legal and illegal, now make up roughly one-third of the construction trades workforce. In many areas the share is far higher. The wage suppression in the very jobs that once built the middle class is real and persistent. People try to say this is about hating immigrants. That is a hard conversation when the people making the accusation either benefit from the impact or are not affected by it at all. This is about a simple question. Why did America stop protecting the economic value of its own citizens?

Students at St. George’s school in Nairobi are on strike after one of their comrades was assaulted by a teacher for being outside viewing the eclipse. The students slept outside making noise, calling for justice. Police were overwhelmed by the students and could not contain the protest. Parents have arrived at the school in a bid to find a solution but what is clear is that the winds of change are blowing even in schools. The big question is if young girls like these can fight for their rights, what were adults doing at bogus Rhema Festivals pretending to act as if everything is alright?
