This is a dust-devil. These mini tornados are a common thing in the western states of America. Though they are usually harmless, they can cause havoc depending on their size. I am not so sure I would have tried to stand in it. Dirt in my eyes, is not a pleasant experience. 🌪️

Makes you feel ridiculous, doesn’t it? These projects only function if literally everyone participates. Most people in the rest of the world won’t because the costs outweigh any benefit to them. Or they simply can’t. Your personal effort in the West ends up being expensive and draining, while the actual difference you make is tiny. The government pushes them anyway. Not because they expect meaningful results, but because they want to train you. They want you performing these costly rituals while believing you’re serving some greater good, when in truth, they’re exploiting that cause for their own agenda. It’s obedience training and exploitation, disguised as collective virtue. But the sea turtles are like totally saved.
