Being a loved one of a hostage is pure hell. She was dealing with her own trauma having survived Nova. The unknown of what your partner is going through could easily break someone. Pure happiness seeing her thrive.

Tony Robbins asked Hamas captivity survivor Eliya Cohen to share his story for 13k people in his audience. Tony: "Eliya and Ziv were on October 7 at a concert. And people came in and tried to rape and murder everyone. On that day Eliya had a ring and was going to propose to Ziv. When the massacre started they ran into a building, they were 40 people there, the terrorists threw a grenade trying to blow everyone up, they were covered in bodies. He didn't know what happened to his girlfriend, she was buried under the bodies. The terrorists took him as hostage, for 505 days. He is with us today." Eliya: "During 505 days I was in a cage 50 meters underground in the tunnel, with no food, with no water, tied by my leg, without shower. I didn't know whether my girlfriend is alive, because when they took me I saw them going inside and verifying the murder, shooting everybody. But I said to myself: "Thanks God that I'm alive". What kept me strong during these 505 days is to think what I still have in my life. I was thinking about the future, I was thinking it will be good because everyone is waiting for me. " Tomy: "I would argue that one reason he survived and ended up thriving in spite of it all, is that he was grateful. In the middle of the worst thing, the fact that he was alive - he was grateful. Many people feel a certain way about this video being shared, and the general consensus is to refer back to Jackie O when she refused to change her bloody shirt. And yes, there is that, but also, remember the last memory any of us had of Charlie before this was his violent, very public death. In reality, she gave us the greatest gift of closure, seeing him laying in peace. It helps replace that video of his death with this video of his peace and love in our own heads. This will be our last memory of him, and it's amazing she was willing to share it with us. ❤️
