This project has allowed me to enter for a brief moment into the lives of an important group of these exiles and survivors, who arrived in Latin American lands many years ago to start a new life; and who have given me the honor of knowing a little about them and their experiences, as well as to photograph them and immortalize them through photography. So far in minting this collection I have been able to portray 58 survivors: 20 from Venezuela 25 from Uruguay 13 from Argentina (in development) Chile and Brazil coming soon The first part of the survivors that arrived in Venezuela were minted as 1/1 NFTs on the ETH blockchain, Sloika Marketplace. I have decided that the survivors that arrived in Uruguay and Venezuela will be available in editions of 50 on the Tezos blockchain and the survivors from Argentina will be minted at a later date. My intention with the sale of the NFTs is to self-finance the project to give it continuity. Soon I must travel to Argentina to finish the group of survivors from that country, then to Chile where there are 13 survivors waiting to be portrayed and then continue moving around Latin America to continue with the project. Another of the main objectives is to finance the printing of a book that gathers all the portraits, biographies and testimonies of each survivor. On the credits page of the book will be all the names of the holders who supported this project with the purchase of NFTs or contributed in any way. What city was it again? ⚡️: It was in the UK. ⚡️: It took us two or three hours by car to get there. The camera crew was with us too. Since they were filming us, it just happened naturally. 👤: So the cameraman just let it run on auto? They were trying to get some behind-the-scenes footage. 👤: But you guys kept talking for an hour. 👤: Watching that, I wondered, "How did they film this?" ⚡️:The traffic was legendary. 👤: I figured. ⚡️: Since it was right in the city. 👤: And didn't you win that time? ⚡️: Yeah. 👤: That's amazing... Trump sending the National Guard into Washington, D.C., and federalizing the police was not about crime. His attacks on Harvard and other universities, like Columbia, were not about anti-Semitism. Firing the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics was not because they released bad data. There were no immigrants eating dogs or cats in Springfield, Ohio. There wasn’t any spigot of water to turn on during the L.A. fires. USAID was not a corrupt criminal organization funneling money to Democrats. This is all about Donald Trump capturing every single aspect of our government, our culture, and our society. It is an authoritarian power grab happening before our eyes—and nothing more. So wake the f— up.
