The cyber truck saved us from an accident today around Indy, on the way home. Say what you will about FSD, but I would have never seen this idiot coming, and I never would have moved. He probably would have eaten the front of my truck. (Keep in mind, we are running 74mph... so he is driving his truck at well over 80, probably 90mph, and maneuvering like it's a sports car. ) Instead, the truck was driving, saw him coming from behind at a much faster rate, and dumped us into the emergency lane to avoid him... Who knows what would have happened, but thanks to FSD, we don't have to know. Elon Musk Thank you.

I think it was the 1982 or 83 Toronto Airshow. I was a participant, we took an SR-71 and three crews went. One crew flew it in. One crew flew on the second-day airshow. And the third crew which was myself flew just a couple of flybys the third day of the airshow and then actually flew the aircraft back to Beale Air Force Base. So, when I came back into the Sacramento area and I was descending to land at Beale, we had a lot of fuel. We had to work on the holiday and I asked the backseater You want to make an approach at Sac Metro? And he said Can we do that? And I said Why not? Murray, Rosenberg SR-71 Pilot

There’s a great moment in The Town: right after robbing an armored truck, the crew is switching cars when they suddenly come face-to-face with a lone cop. He sees them — then looks away. According to Ben Affleck, this was based on a real story. He explains: “For The Town, I went down and just went through all the prisons out there in Massachusetts — federal prisons, state prisons — and sat down and talked to guys who robbed trucks and banks… I’m in Walpole, or I’m in the prison in Dedham or whatever, and some guy said - after talking for two hours - I was like, “Has anything just fucking weird ever happened? Or fucked up? Anything you remember?” And he was like, “Yeah, one time, we were coming out of this thing. We robbed this truck, and we had the switch car. We drove around the corner, and we pull up and we get out — fucking guns and the masks, the whole thing — and we look over and there’s this cop sitting there doing construction duty.” I was like, “Oh shit. What happened?” “You know, he looked at us, we looked at him, he looked the other way.” And I was like, “Really?” He goes, “Yeah. He didn’t want to end up on the wall at the VFW.” I was like, “I’m putting that in the movie - He didn’t want to end up on the wall at the VFW.” It was a great line. It was such a simple explanation for, “What do you think he did?” And why. That’s exactly what it would have been. That guy, next day, his picture would have been up at the wall at the VFW. He knew it, and everybody knew it.”

This runner at second base tried to steal third base. The catcher throws the ball down to the third base girl, she applies the tag and the runner is called out. The coach wanted obstruction on the third base girl. The 3rd base umpire said no obstruction. They ask for the home plate umpire’s help but he sticks with the call from the 3rd base umpire. When you look at it, the runner had a clear path to the bag but ran high and slid into the third base girl when if she had gone in more of a straight line would have made the tag harder. She didn’t try to slide into the base but rather the fielder imho. I say no obstruction and the right call was made. You make the call.

🚨FOURTH OUT MISTAKE!!!🚨 NO WAY!!! Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays and in the 7th Boston has first and third and one out. Ceddanne Rafaela hits a fly to center and both runners forget there was one out and just ran without tagging up. After the ball was caught, the Blue Jays threw the ball in and doubled off the runner at first, for an inning ending double play. Since the runner from third scored BEFORE the third out, the run counts because this is not a force, but a timing play. What Toronto SHOULD have done is after the out at first, they legally could have thrown to third and appealed that that runner left early. This would have been the elusive FOURTH OUT and this would have replaced the third out and nullified the run. Once all the infielders crossed the foul line, the ability to appeal the play was lost, and once that happened, the run was officially counted. #DieryWater #BlueJays50
