Remember when the UK Gov set up a Covid mass testing centre in Cardiff without telling the Welsh Government (who were responsible for testing? Hard to believe right? The chair of the Covid inquiry certainly thinks so.

Incidentally this decision led to serious issues in Wales as we went into the pandemic because we had Covid tests going to different labs and it conducted in slightly different ways.

I think it requires a deeper dig. They were notified on the 31.03.20 Construction appears to have started on the 2.4.20 Construction completed on 7.4.20 Considering how fast things were happening in those early weeks I find it hard to believe that @WelshGovernment wasn’t even aware that the UKGov were looking for sites for mass testing. Point to note: the UK PM was hospitalised at this point.
