Then came the public health concerns at the Pilsen shelter, where a 5-year-old migrant child died after developing sepsis associated with a Group A strep infection. 🤣The first cold joke of China in 2026 has been born! 🎇 To prevent people from gathering and “making trouble” while celebrating the New Year, the Chinese Communist Party deployed a large number of police for prevention, and also shut down New Year’s Eve countdown big screens in many places! 🎇These three videos were filmed in the Hubin District of Hangzhou. 1⃣In the first video, the entire screen is filled with police officers. 2⃣In the second video, the number of police officers and security personnel is almost the same as the number of people who came out to celebrate the New Year. 3⃣The third video shows that the countdown big screen was shut down, and people “entered” the New Year on their own without a countdown big screen.

It seems some people are still confused about how autonomous the Optimus bots were at the Tesla event. This clip is from another video Tesla released a while ago. It shows how the bots are controlled remotely using a haptic suit, kind of like puppets. Also, during the event, the operators were speaking through a microphone. None of the bots were talking on their own. In short, all the hand movements and speaking were done remotely, but the walking was autonomous.

One of the alleged suspects died whilst the other one sustained some injuries. The incident occurred in Verena on Wednesday, 24 December 2024. According to a report, Police as well Medical Emergency Services were called to the scene, and it was during this period when one of the men was pronounced dead, while the other was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is currently hospitalized under Police guard. The incident is believed to be linked to stocktheft incident, where 26 cattle, six goats, and a donkey were reportedly stolen from a certain farm in Verena. The Police investigation indicates that a shepherd was attacked earlier that day then robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. Thereafter, the suspects are believed to have fled the scene in two bakkies with trailers when their vehicles got stuck in the mud, leading to their capture and attack by the mob. Two bakkies were also torched during the incident.

Our old and disabled people never ran to African countries to be a burden or to seek refuge during the apartheid era even when they were faced with death. They all remained behind and fought for freedom except for a few political figures that went to exile. We have no sympathy for cowards that run away from challenges. OP : In Chembur, me and 4 of my friends/siblings had gone out to eat burgers when a drunk man in his 50s-60s, standing on the road smoking, suddenly started yelling at me repeatedly, “चल गाड़ी पर बैठ आ जा.” When I asked if he was talking to me, he said yes. My brother confronted him for speaking to a girl like that, after which the man started threatening and yelling at me saying things like “शानी बन रही है क्या?” and "तुझे दिखाता हूँ." He then ran away leaving his scooty behind, and we stayed there waiting for him to return. Around 15 minutes later, he came back with his wife and completely changed the story, claiming I approached him first. While we were arguing, a local man called people from the area and suddenly 20-25 people gathered around us. Things escalated quickly - my sister was physically pushed, my brothers were beaten, slapped and attacked, and when I tried stopping them, even I got pushed and hit. Elderly women from the crowd started slapping me too. Stones were thrown at us and huge rocks shattered our car's front glass completely. We were just 5-6 people against an entire mob. When we called the police expecting help, they immediately started yelling at us to sit in the police van without even hearing our side. Later we found out the local man involved was apparently known to the police. At the station, instead of taking the harassment and assault seriously, we were mocked, interrupted, yelled at, and treated like criminals. One officer kept staring at my chest while I was trying to explain what happened, and one of my friends was even slapped by a cop for speaking against the local man they were favouring. By the end of it, we were so traumatised, exhausted and emotionally drained that we gave up on filing the complaint altogether. So the question is - is this how safe women are in Mumbai? A large group of “feral” youths were seen jumping barriers and pushing past staff at Southend Victoria train station after returning from visiting the seafront.
