@JohnBasham I was at work when my sister called and told me Charlie had been shot. I'll never forget getting on X and seeing the video. I said it then and I'll say it again: we are at war with demons. We must never let them prevail.

I remember it was around 12:30 p.m. Los Angeles time when I saw the video of Charlie being shot and bleeding. I remember I kept posting on X that he was dead. At the same time, I remember Andrew Tate posted, “Pray for Charlie, he’s in the hospital. Pray for Charlie.” But as I watched the video, I kept saying, “He’s dead. He’s dead.” I felt, from what I saw, that he had already died. Months later, when I heard Candace Owens asking why some people immediately posted that Charlie was dead, it was frustrating because I was one of those people. I was not connected to Turning Point USA at all. I was simply someone who saw the video and reacted to what I believed I was witnessing. I remember the first person who reached out to check on me was my friend Pauline. Around 1 p.m., she called me, and I answered the phone. I remember very clearly that I was crying and kept saying, “Why? Why?” She kept saying, “I’m sure it was a tans person,” e. After about forty-five minutes of talking with her, we hung up. I remember sitting on the floor in my kitchen, crying and feeling unable to do anything. Then my friend Raspina called. I remember very clearly that we spent about three hours on the phone together, crying nonstop. I remember Raspina told me that “every day at 9 a.m., I would get a notification that Charlie was live, that his show was starting. She started crying even harder and said “Now I’m not going to get that notification anymore.” And today what feels so heartbreaking: instead of celebrating that Charlie’s legacy continues and that his ideas and beliefs are still being discussed, some people seem to want to destroy everything and burn it all down. WE WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN. The last time I saw Charlie in person was on June 30th at the God Speak event at a church in Thousand Oaks, where Rob McCoy was the pastor. I Miss him so much, couldn't stop my tears today :(

Be so for real. We watched it live and reposted and replayed back to back to back. We were traumatized & still are from watching that. Our hearts are broke from loosing such a special person, but also our heart’s are broken for our children. He gave us hope for our children’s future. He was the future of America. Today we don’t only mourn the loss of Charlie, but also the loss of his mission that yall have absolutely destroyed in just a years time.

I’ll never forget where I was, the feeling that came over my body, and the heartache I had for Charlie’s family. It was the same as when I heard Trump was shot, I thought he was ☠️, and I’ll never forget that day either. Unfortunately, w/ Charlie, his life was taken, the most loving man on earth life was taken.

I bet you guys will have all the roofs covered today. I'm sure there will be an ambulance on site as well. But unfortunately that wasn't the case last September 10th. I wonder why

I was in Target when my husband texted me, “Charlie Kirk was shot.” I quickly opened X, and almost instantly left a full cart of groceries and ran to my car after seeing the video that traumatized a generation. When my son was first born, in the early feeding hours, I spent every night with Charlie Kirk. Debates, events, speeches. I watched it all. He got me through those long nights, and all of a sudden this man that I admired and looked up to was brutally murdered for all the world to see. The next morning, September 11th, I went up to my local 9/11 memorial to pray for Charlie and our nation. It was in that moment that I knew as a mother, as a wife, and as a friend and daughter I needed to fervently chase Jesus like I never have before. His life brought me closer to God and my purpose, and I will forever be grateful for the gift that he was to us. May he rest in everlasting peace

I was at work when the news broke out on X and the clipped streams were everywhere. I watched it play out, my heart sank, and the hours after that were pure silence - so many people hoping against hope that he was in stable condition until the news broke that he passed. I broke down in tears at work. I felt mortal. The drive home was hell, but my girlfriend (who is pro-immigration and left-leaning) was there to lift me up, even if she didn’t necessarily agree with him. She has done so much to show that love doesn’t require lockstep agreement or shared political views. Charlie embodied the very best of Christian and American values, calling on us to treat each other with kindness and genuine equality through open debate and communication. To this day, that fire is still in my heart and something did change in me. I feel Charlie’s legacy and God’s spirit so much more prevalently in the world around us. There’s an emboldened sense of fight in me, and I’ve net so many who moved to the right when they saw the shameless mocking of his death; met so many people who feel more comfortable to share their right-leaning views. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: They can celebrate and be edgy all they want, but the murder of Charlie (and to a degree, Irina) was the biggest mistake the left could ever have made. Don’t let them gaslight you into thinking the world is hopeless.

……….. Remember they won’t tell where or if he is buried. Remember they cut off his shirt. Remember the Rode mic. Remember the 10” of soil they removed. Remember they never did a real investigation. They scrambled with fake evidence after the fact to create a false narrative. I remember. ………

It's the day that "radicalized" me. I will never be the same person. Someone I barely knew had such a profound impact on my life. May he rest in peace.

I was working in my Garden when it happened, listening to the News. I felt stunned, didn’t wanna believe it. I came in the house and Mom was watching it on the news. Reminded me of how People hated Jesus for telling the truth. I Pray for his family.

Ugh. Heartbreaking. Still can’t believe we lost such an amazing and inspiring soul. I’ll never forget that day and I still think about Charlie all the time. I left a quote on my bio that we all must remember in his absence. Freedom is not free. It must be fought for and defended. Charlie was a fighter and we must all carry his torch. RIP Charlie. 💔💔💔💔

@frontierism I was on my way to the dentist - about 2 blocks away - when I heard he was shot and in the waiting room when I heard he didn’t make it. I couldn’t help but cry.and feel lost. He was a good man with a beautiful message and he is sorely missed.

The evil forces, the demons, the corrupt, all were crowning at the sight of a young man pouring out blood and being ripped from this Earth. While the good weeped, mourned, and were filled with rage. Yet we must rejoice knowing that a faithful and loving Christian is now in Heaven. Yes the populace has moved on with their daily lives, the one year anniversary reminding us of how we felt that day. However, we have also changed. From that day forward we understood unity was no more. We understood those opposing us wish upon our death. They are possessed and filled with the demons of Satan. There is no such thing as unity. It is over. I pray for the lost to find the way. I pray for those in darkness to find the light. But this is a spiritual battle between Good and Evil and September 10th 2025 proved that very fact. Charlie had so much going for him on this Earth. He had a beautiful family and a bright future. But remember this world is temporary and now he is at eternal peace. - Rising Eagle 23 yo conservative

I miss a man I never met! Charlie saved me from myself. The way he was able to logically express his point of view on Christ and the American way of life pulled me out of my victim mindset that’s was slowly killing me.

I was on my way to my son’s dental appointment. I silently cried and prayed through the entire appointment. On the way home, it was confirmed that he had died. Had to explain to my 3 young children that I was crying because someone I admired and died and gone to Heaven.
