@biscuit_ersed Odd how countries measure inflation as current index divided by index a year ago. Inflation dropped from 6.3% in Sept. to 4.7% in Oct. because of a big increase Sept. to Oct. LAST year. Actually, the annualized inflation for past 6 mos. is 3.0% -- better than Tories are touting.

Not true Prices are falling especially Energy prices which have driven the drop. While lower inflation does not equal price falls across the board it is driven down by price falls. Energy prices have dropped not risen more slowly
