How Theresa May helped open up the Asylum 4 Gays route 👇

Jacqui Smith (@Jacqui_Smith1), presently Minister for Women & Equalities, used to be quite staunch on this issue back in the day.

Phase 1: That's not happening. Phase 2: Okay that's happening but it's a good thing. Phase 3: You racist bigot.

It wouldn’t even make a difference if the immigration officers knew they were lying (they probably do know). Procedural outcomes mean they get in anyway.

Perfect example of how a (formally) high trust society creates mechanisms it assumes will work universally, only to see it undermined immediately by people who are happy to lie to gain an advantage.

happens everywhere. my cousin works at Dutch immigration and his whole job is just interviewing africans who lie about being gay.

Incredible that this country maintaind an asylum system when 95% of it is clearly a scam. It's an ideological position from this point. Masochism and hubris posing as humanity.

Solicitors are advising people to break the law and fraudulently lie in their applications. Solicitor Regulation Authority should remove all their licenses and everyone who did lie should be deported and banned for 10 years (as it f*cking states in the law)

Having worked with Border force they will just nod, smile and wave them in regardless they are overwhelmed and will look at the flimsiest of ‘evidence’ and just rubber stamp regardless sadly.

If you are facilitating fraud then 1. Why do we let you keep practicing law, 2. Surely they should be liable for the money the state spent supporting people with fraudulent claims. If the car leasing claims are real then the states claim Vs these lawyers is far stronger. You would bankrupt these people but c eat la vie

I bet the vast majority of so-called refugees and asylum seekers are just crooks who claim to be gay or throw their passports away because they have criminal records back home.

They do the same by claiming to be Christian

I sense a move at Gov. Can not think of another reason why the National Broadcaster would publish a story about this if they were not. Its also worse

@the_cynical1 Two things: Are the BBC reporting that they recognise that something untoward is happening regarding immigration into the UK? Why do you think the BBC might have restricted replied in their original post? 🤔

There should be no route to asylum for male over 12s. Happy for more safe routes for women and children.

Funny how one horrible decision—accepting gaydom—leads to other remote disorders, like immigration fraud.

Wow this is grim. All the scammers are gonna have a genuinely bad knock on effect on gay refugees GENUINELY fleeing from persecution and murder from these countries. Not sure how you can really test for this stuff. Whack on some gay porn and see who gets aroused? 🤣

It’s the most obvious loophole to target as it’s hard to prove without witnessing a sex act. Which is not proper. It’s a shame to genuine gay people fleeing countries where they could be killed for being that way.

If it were true, maybe the government could explain how importing 2 million gay people will help with declining birth rates? 🤷‍♂️
