I was waiting outside a testing center in 2013 in the morning to take a standardized test. There was a little yellow finch lying on the ground 🐦. It had run into the glass and knocked itself out. I found a safe little spot for it and they started to rouse and move about. By the time I had exited the test, the bird had taken flight again and was free. This reminded me of that memory.
