This is, by far, one of the best uses of modern AI. If you don't use embeddings when querying your database, you are definitely leaving a lot on the table. In this video, I'll show you how to run semantic searches using OpenAI and PostgreSQL. It's all thanks to Pgai, an open-source PostgreSQL extension: Here's what will happen: 1. We'll create a simple table with news articles 2. We'll generate embeddings for those articles 3. We'll run queries on top of those embeddings For this video, I generated the embeddings using a simple query, but pgai Vectorizer would do the same automatically as new information makes it into the database. This is awesome! If you have a PostgreSQL database with data you are searching over, you should start experimenting with semantic searches immediately. For most use cases, a combination of full-text search + semantic search is the best approach. If you don't have a PostgreSQL database around, you can try free for 30 days using Timescale: Thanks to the TimescaleDB (by Tiger Data) team for partnering with me on this post!

My review on the new Vtuber App EmoteLab. This app is only in beta, and it's a 10/10! You can modify just enough from the default settings, to have so much done! incredibly quality and speed. You can modify the textures too! Advance options are easy to access. Someone REALLY Smart can even create an entire Vtuber Models and Giftuber models with this! My personal take, this is an amazing thing for beginners or even those who Vtube as a hobby, want to use it for personal projects. A customized personal emote from start still holds a special place, never forget the meaning of an emote as well, it is whatever your heart desires. As simple as an emote can be, sometimes they should encapsulate moments of your streamer journey, or your favorite memes, and so much more.

It's an app that works with every other macOS application and uses Claude Sonet 3.5 in the background—it also supports Gemini and GPT-4o. Minting FXRP with FAssets v1.3 is now much simpler: instead of choosing an agent and reserving collateral first, users can send a labelled XRP payment on XRPL and have FXRP minted to the right Flare/Songbird address. The new destination tag feature is a key unlock: a tag can be reserved and mapped to a minting recipient, so when XRP is sent with that tag, the system knows where to route the FXRP. This makes FXRP minting much closer to the deposit flows wallets, exchanges, and custodians already use.
