WATCH: Jen Psaki and Ben Rhodes hopelessly seethe at the indictment of Raúl Castro, to whom their boss personally offered his limp wrist in 2016. Note the gigantic lie about what causes scarcity in Cuba and note the multiple gratuitous potshots at the Cuban exile community. JEN PSAKI: Okay. I just want to start with the- the video that Secretary of State Marco Rubio put out today in Spanish. It was a Spanish-language message. What do you think? Who is the audience? What is he trying to achieve for this video? What did you make of it? BEN RHODES: Well, you know, Jen, as you remember, I negotiated the normalization of relations with Cuba, including with Raul Castro, directly. Traveled to Havana with you and President Obama in 2016. So I've thought a lot about this. That video was extraordinary in its hubris, tone,-deafness and hypocrisy. I think the audience for that video was not the Cuban people, most of whom probably won't even see it. The audience was kind of Rubio's own political base. The more hardline Cuban Americans, mainly in south Florida, who have wanted there to be a regime change since the Bay of Pigs invasion, when this was last attempted in the Kennedy administration. And just very quickly to go through it, the absurdity of it. Look, I'm not here to defend the Cuban government, but the reality is the scarcity in Cuba is not because its leaders stole some money from the people. It's because there's been an embargo for decades that denies basic goods and denies Cuba access to the international financial system. And because there's been a full blockade on Cuba for months, which has denied them fuel, which has led to power shortages, which has killed people, because if you cut off power to hospitals, people die and children are malnourished. Second, the absurdity of him talking about the corruption of billions of dollars being stolen at the same time that Donald Trump, his family and his cronies have been looting literally the American treasury or leveraging American power to get billions of dollars in crypto companies. Nobody believes that this is some earnest anti-corruption agenda. And then lastly, do we really think these people are credible in delivering messages about human rights and democracy as they dismantle human rights and democracy at home? No. So this is about power. This is about treating the Western Hemisphere like our empire. And it's about something that no Americans, other than that small political political base of Rubio’s is interested in, which is yet another regime change operation.

The Florida speedboat incursion was the latest act in the longest campaign of state-sponsored terrorism in the Western Hemisphere. Sponsored by the CIA. At its peak, the CIA's JM/WAVE station in Miami employed 300 professional operatives and 15,000 Cuban exile agents on direct payroll. A fleet of over 100 boats. The third-largest navy in the Caribbean. $50 million a year. Three hundred front companies. They raided Cuban coastal towns. Bombed freighters in Cuban harbors. Sabotaged Cuban sugar exports with biological agents. Numerous assassination plots against Cuban leadership. When JM/WAVE closed in 1968, it did not dismantle the terrorist network. It released it. By 1974, Cuban exile operatives accounted for 45% of all terrorist bombings on the planet. Over 130 bombings on U.S. soil. They car-bombed a former Chilean ambassador on the streets of Washington. They fired an RPG at the UN General Assembly during Che Guevara's address. They assassinated a Cuban diplomat at the United Nations; the first UN diplomat murdered in New York since the organization's founding. A CIA officer who supervised the Cuban exile terrorist network with documented contact with Lee Harvey Oswald was later assigned to manage Congress's investigation of Kennedy's murder. He received a medal for limiting what they found. The men who broke into the Democratic National Committee headquarters in 1972 were CIA-trained Bay of Pigs veterans, run by a JM/WAVE officer. The network did not disappear. It incorporated. The Cuban American National Foundation was founded in 1981 by a CIA-trained Bay of Pigs veteran. It became one of the most powerful exile lobbies in the country. It had a secret paramilitary wing. A cargo helicopter. Ten ultralight aircraft. Seven vessels. $1.4 million in explosives. In 1997, it paid Salvadoran mercenaries $4,500 per device to detonate 25 bombs inside Cuba. Today, its political descendants write Cuba policy in Congress. The infamous bombing of Cubana Flight 455 in 1976 left seventy-three dead. Organized by Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch. Both CIA-trained. The man Posada paid to plant the bomb called Bosch after the explosion: "A bus with 73 dogs went off a cliff. All died." George H.W. Bush was CIA Director when it happened. His own Attorney General later called Bosch "an unreformed terrorist." Bush pardoned him anyway. Posada Carriles walked free too. In 1997 he organized a campaign of bombings across Havana's tourist hotels. His bombs killed an Italian tourist. He told the New York Times: "I sleep like a baby." He died in his bed in Miami at 90. Never tried. Cuban exile networks carried out 43 documented terrorist attacks in Puerto Rico. The independentistas who opposed them got 55 to 90 years. The exile terrorists got pardons, residency, medals, and seats in Congress. Cuba today is on Washington's "State Sponsors of Terrorism" list. The United States built the terrorists, then wrote the list

History they don’t teach you: on this day in 1960, Fidel Castro nationalised Esso, Shell and Texaco in Cuba🇨🇺, breaking the United States’ draconian control of the Cuban economy. After the Soviet Union began supplying Cuba with crude oil, Texaco, Esso, and British-Dutch Shell refused to refine Soviet oil for Cuba after pressure from the US government. 100% of Cuba’s oil refining capacity was controlled by these 3 corporations, meaning the US government and these corporations effectively held the Cuban economy at gunpoint. Fidel Castro responded to this by nationalising the assets of all 3 corporations. Before Cuba's revolution, US financial interests owned 90% of Cuba’s mines, 80% of public utilities, 50% of railways, 40% of sugar production & 25% of bank deposits. In the first 30 months after Fidel Castro and Cuba’s communists came to power, more classrooms were built in those 30 months than had been built in the previous 30 years. Within the first six months of Castro's government, 600 miles of road had been built across the island, while $300 million was spent on water and sanitation schemes. Over 800 houses were constructed every month in the early years of the administration in a measure to cut homelessness, while nurseries and day-care centers were opened for children and other centers opened for the disabled and elderly. With the arrival of the revolutionary government, Cuban healthcare was nationalised and expanded with heavy investment, bringing free healthcare access to millions. Universal vaccination for childhood diseases was introduced, leading to infant mortality rates plummeting. Cuba's 'army of doctors' is now sent to crisis-hit countries around the world. Since 1963, more than 600,000 Cuban health workers have provided medical services in more than 160 countries. Despite being under the illegal embargo imposed by the US, Cuba now has a higher life expectancy than the US, has more doctors per capita than the US, and is among the top 35 countries for lowest child mortality rates. Under Fidel Castro's rule, UNICEF declared severe child malnutrition to be eradicated. Donald Trump’s looming war on Cuba is revenge for Cuban revolutionaries daring to break the US’ control of the island nation. Trump wants to return to the times when Cuba was effectively an American economic colony.

Mark Cuban on the door-to-door garbage bag business that taught him how to sell at age 12: It started because his dad wouldn't buy him a pair of shoes. Cuban was 12, and he wanted new Converse. His dad was in the middle of a poker game. "Dad, I need a new pair of Converse, right?" Cuban recalls asking. His father wasn't moved: "I see those, you know, those shoes on your feet. They still work, right?" Cuban admitted they did. So his dad laid down the rule that would end up shaping his career: "Well, when you have a job, you can buy whatever you want, but until then, those shoes still work." Cuban pushed back with the obvious problem: "Dad, I can't get a job. I'm 12 years old." Then one of his dad's poker buddies spoke up. "Yeah, I got a job for you," the man said. "I've got these boxes of garbage bags and you can go sell them around the neighborhood." So that's what Cuban did. He knocked on doors with a simple pitch: "Hi, I'm your neighbor, Mark. Do you use garbage bags?" The economics were straightforward. The boxes cost him three dollars for a hundred. He sold them for six. Then he'd come back every couple of weeks to restock his neighbors whenever they needed more. He was clearing about 20 bucks a week, which felt like big time, and he got his shoes. The money was never the real lesson. What stuck with him was what selling actually is: "That taught me to be confident and that taught me that I could sell. And that taught me that selling was helping, not convincing." That distinction became the foundation of how Mark Cuban thinks about business. Once he realized everyone already needed garbage bags, the whole game clarified: "Once I figured out that everybody needed garbage bags, then it really became obvious to me that if I can find things that people needed, right, and wanted and I could do it a better way than what they were doing it, then I can make some money. And that's kind of stayed with me since."

CANADA MUST BREAK U.S. FUEL BLOCKADE ON CUBA Cuba requires fuel and Canada has the capacity to supply it. Despite the U.S. Supreme Court declaring the extraordinary tariffs against Cuba illegal, the fuel blockade remains in place. The executive order against Cuba continues to be enforced through pressure, coercion, and threats to third parties. At the same time, the U.S. intends to maintain military control over the traffic of vessels arriving in Cuba. Mark Carney’s government has now announced food assistance to Cuba as part of a public relations damage-control measure. In reality, the Liberal government is standing by while every aspect of life in Cuba is affected by Washington’s illegal six-decade-long blockade. Carney’s widely praised speech at Davos declared that it’s time for middle powers to “stop pretending” and stand up to superpower coercion. Yet, despite Canada’s amicable relationship with Cuba, Ottawa has been slow to provide aid and refuses to acknowledge the U.S. blockade as the primary cause of the island’s suffering. Meanwhile, Canadian airlines have suspended flights to Cuba, citing fuel shortages, while carriers from other countries continue to operate. Organizations across Canada are calling for an adequate response to oppose the U.S. blockade. A parliamentary petition urges Canada to advocate for the removal of the coercive measures on Cuba. The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has condemned Washington’s “blatant and unjustifiable assault” on the Cuban people. Trump prepares to invade Cuba. Can the island Resist? Following the difficulties encountered in Iran, despite expenditures exceeding $100 billion, Donald Trump is betting on a victory through military action against Cuba. On the 20th, the USS Nimitz and its carrier strike group, which includes the destroyer USS Gridley, officially arrived in the Caribbean. The official justification was that the movement is part of Operation Southern Seas 2026, but U.S. Southern Command emphasized that the presence serves as a strategic advantage and combat readiness. The arrival occurred on the same day the U.S. formally indicted former Cuban leader Raúl Castro for homicide, escalating fears of a military intervention similar to the one in Venezuela months earlier. This aligns with flight tracking data confirming that the U.S. has established a constant surveillance siege of Cuba with MQ-4C Triton drones; at least three of these high-altitude, long-endurance drones were detected operating near the island. At least five P-8A Poseidon aircraft are also participating in patrols, alongside Rivet Joint (RC-135) planes used for electronic eavesdropping to intercept communications and radar signals from Cuban defenses. The Trump administration justified this mobilization by citing intelligence that Cuba had acquired over 300 military drones from Russia and Iran. According to Washington, these drones could be used to attack the Guantanamo base or even U.S. territory, a fanciful claim that rings the alarm for a military operation. The intended action is expected to unfold similarly to what happened in Venezuela, but can Cuba resist? Cuba is going through a difficult period, marked by power outages, a high cost of living, fuel shortages, and low tourism activity, in addition to the strangulation caused by the Trump administration’s embargo. Regarding air defenses, the Cubans recently contracted the Belarusian company ALEVKURP to upgrade their Pechora systems to the S-125-2BM standard, replacing old analog components with modern digital processors. The system can now attack not only aircraft but also land and maritime targets with known coordinates. There have also been improvements to radars for operation under heavy electronic warfare and the capability to track targets using thermal and TV cameras. This allows for firing without turning on the radar, avoiding detection by anti-radiation missiles. Furthermore, the upgrade allows the system to identify drones visually or by heat without emitting radar signals, much like Iranian systems. The Pechora-2BM standard uses radars mounted on high-mobility vehicles; the idea is to activate the radar, fire the missile, and change positions in less than 25 minutes. Despite all these improvements, the Pechora remains a limited system. I would say Cuba will face great difficulty in containing U.S. aviation, but it will force caution upon enemy pilots. The Cuban strategy focuses on being an aerial guerrilla defense: not trying to defeat the U.S. Air Force, but rather increasing the political cost of an invasion by imposing losses. Cuban forces are also betting on Electronic Warfare. They possess many Cold War-era systems that were also recently modernized by Russian and Belarusian companies. Cuba tested these systems to perform spoofing and jamming of satellite signals, generating magnetic anomalies in the Caribbean reported this May 2026. Several mobile EW units are scattered across the island and camouflaged, making it difficult for spy planes and drones to locate them. Full article:

Mark Cuban: “A lot of data centers will be turned into pickleball courts.” Mark Cuban: “What's happening now is the market leaders, Google, Meta. etc, they're borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars. And there's already a private credit problem right now. Just layer on private credit, and then you have these huge companies that have cash flow, but they're spending all their cash flow on CapEx, and then they're borrowing on top of that. That's planning for perfection. And that's going to be hard. And we're building these data centers, and if there's a price-performance curve on AI that minimizes the power requirements, there's going to be a lot of data centers that are going to be turned into pickleball courts. Everybody thinks that there's going to be so much more utilization. And there will be. It'll just scale like everybody expects. But there's going to be technological breakthroughs as well. Just like we saw fiber back in the day, it was all about putting in fiber. Then it went from 1GB fiber, to 10GB, to 100GB, and then there wasn't a fiber problem anymore. There wasn't a bandwidth problem anymore.” @jason: “It was quite the opposite. We had dark fiber that people bought for pennies on the dollar.” Cuban: “Just sitting there, right? And how is it not going to be the case that we don't get the same price performance improvements on the AI side and on the data center side?” ------------------------------ Thanks to our partners for making this possible! Mark Cuban just described the largest wealth transfer of the AI era. Almost nobody understood what he said. Cuban: “There are 33 million companies in this country. Aren’t going to have AI budgets. Aren’t going to have AI experts.” Not tech startups. The shoe store. The regional trucking outfit. The accounting firm with 12 employees. The businesses that actually run the physical economy. They know AI is coming. They have no idea what to do with it. Cuban: “You’ve got the head of Microsoft saying software is dead because everything’s going to be customized to your unique utilization.” Software is dead. The SaaS era ran on one rule. Build a generic product. Force millions of companies to bend their workflows around it. Charge rent forever. AI ends the contract. The business stops bending to the software. The intelligence bends to the business. But customized by whom. The third-generation manufacturer cannot tell Claude from Gemini. The county hospital is staring at a reactor asking where the light switch is. Cuban: “Who’s going to do it for them?” That question is worth more than the frontier models themselves. Hundreds of billions are being burned to build the foundation. The smartest engineers alive are locked in a bloodbath over who owns the base layer. Let them fight. Let them burn the capital. Let them drive the cost of raw intelligence toward zero. Because the wealth does not collect where the brain is built. It collects where the brain meets the business. Every ambitious kid in college right now thinks survival means a seat at OpenAI or Anthropic. Cuban is staring at the other 99 percent of the economy. Learn the models. Then learn the messy, unglamorous reality of how a 50-person company actually operates. Walk through the door. Understand their problems. Wire the intelligence directly into their revenue. That is not a job title. That is an entire economic class being born. You do not need to build the brain. You need to build the nervous system. The biggest winners of the electricity era were not the engineers who built the generators. They were the ones who walked into dark factories and showed the owners where to plug in. 33 million companies are standing in the dark right now. Silicon Valley is racing to build the god. The fortunes will belong to whoever teaches him a trade.

🇨🇺 Cuba President Diaz-Canel, on Fidel Castro's 100th birthday: "To be a Fidelista is not to profess blind faith; it is an honorable attitude toward life. To be a Fidelista means defining ourselves as permanent anti-imperialist fighters, against every injustice in the world. And celebrating the eternity of the Commander in Chief means, above all, defeating once again those who tried to assassinate him more than 600 times and only succeeded in magnifying his stature. The soldier of ideas is back in a way that must terrify his adversaries. The resurgence of fascism across the world is imposing on the Global South an ideological war that, in its cultural and media dimensions, insists on shielding capitalism as our hegemonic destiny, subordinate to imperialist logic, seeking to erase historical memory, to recolonize us culturally and break our identities. At the same time, and toward those same ends, the media war unfolds, with its campaigns of disinformation and poison, directed against the most elementary human values as if they were obsolete, to justify wars and acts of aggression as incompatible with international law as the genocide in Gaza, the aggression against Iran, or the energy blockade on Cuba. Fidel lives in every Cuban medical professional who saves a life, most of the time without even having the indispensable medicine. In the educators who abandon the classroom neither in the city nor in the mountains. When future historians look back through time searching for Fidel Castro Ruz, the Commander in Chief, they will no longer see just one man: they will see his people, and the millions who, inspired by his exemplary life, earned their place in history by standing up, unbowed, to the most powerful and criminal empire, and prevailing.

🚨NEW - Kash Patel highlights the unbelievable connections between three senior Biden intelligence officials—Robert Malley, Ariane Tabatabai, and Maher Bitar—and their associations with Hamas and Iran. On June 29, 2023, Robert Malley was placed on unpaid leave from his role as Joe Biden's special envoy to Iran, and his security clearance was suspended due to an ongoing investigation into the potential mishandling of classified materials. On September 29, 2023, Semafor reported that Malley was involved in funding, supporting, and directing an Iranian intelligence operation to influence the United States and allied governments, as revealed by a collection of Iranian government emails. These emails suggested that Malley facilitated the placement of an Iranian agent of influence named Ariane Tabatabai in sensitive positions within the U.S. government, initially at the State Department and later at the Pentagon, where she has been serving as Chief of Staff for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations. On October 16, 2023, Revolver News reported that Maher Bitar, who is Senior Director for Intelligence Programs on Joe Biden’s National Security Council, was also an executive director of the “Students for Justice in Palestine” group that reportedly responded to the recent Hamas terror attack on Israel by organizing a “Day of Resistance” in support of Hamas’ “historic win” against Israel. Bitar was photographed wearing a black and white “keffiyeh,” a symbol of Palestinian nationalism, and standing in front of a sign that reads, “Divest from Israel Apartheid.” Kash Patel has pointed out that Maher Bitar plays a significant role in determining intelligence prioritization for President Biden, even though there is a photo of him wearing Palestinian attire, calling for the economic and political boycott of Israel. Robert Malley, who recently had his security clearance suspended by the FBI, installed Ariane Tabatabai at the Department of Defense as the Assistant Chief of Staff for the Special Operations Office. Do you know what she did in 2014? "She emailed Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and asked for permission as a U.S. citizen to take a trip on behalf of the US government. This individual is still employed at the DOD." Unbelievable.

🚨4-27-17 White House Press Briefing🚨 General Flynn was vetted by Obama admin and had his security clearance renewed by the Obama admin in 2016. Trump told us! Reporter: You may have seen the news of the office of the inspector general announcing it launched an investigation into the payment that the former national security advisor Michael Flynn received prior to becoming the national security advisor from RT, Russia Today, Which is an entity of Russian Government. What is your reaction that first of all? Sean: I think that’s appropriate. If they think there is wrong doing that that the department inspector general to look into that. Reporter: are you satisfied with the vetting of General Flynn by the transition team before he came on board as the National Security Advisor Sean: so that’s a great question. I appreciate you bringing that up. Let’s walk through that for a second. General Flynn was a career military officer who maintained a high level security clearance throughout his career in the military. His clearance was last reissued by the Obama Administration in the 2016 with full knowledge of his activities in 2015 as you point out. So the issue, you know, he was issued a security clearance under the Obama Administration in the spring of 2016. The trip and transactions occurred in December 2015. From what I understand. So, you know, obviously, there’s an issue that as you point out The Department of Defense Inspector is looking into. We welcome that…. But all of that clearance was made by the Obama — during the Obama and apparently with knowledge of the trio he took so that’s how the process works and I welcome the department of defense review. 🚨To my beloved Cuban people: 67 long years under the boot of dictatorship — Castro, Raúl, now Díaz-Canel — you have suffered enough. This is the strongest, clearest opportunity for freedom you have EVER had. The moment is NOW. Just 90 miles from your shores stands a President who genuinely cares about your liberty: Donald J. Trump. He speaks your name. He fights for YOU — not oil, not deals, not anything else. His heart is with the Cuban people who deserve to be free. The regime is cracking. They are afraid — the same fear they forced on you for decades is now eating them alive. The repressor is finally being repressed. That’s what Trump is doing: squeezing the life out of a terrorist, murderous, genocidal system that has enslaved you. Your freedom is not just electricity, food, medicine or dollars. Your freedom is the stolen years of your life. Your freedom is your children growing up without chains. Your freedom is the right to speak the truth out loud without disappearing. Your freedom lives in the streets — and it’s waiting for YOU to claim it. We in exile have never stopped fighting for you. From Miami, Madrid, Bogotá, every corner of the free world, Cubans stand ready. Marco Rubio, brave congressmen, patriots across America — they raise your cause every day. The world is watching. You are far less alone today than you have ever been. To the soldiers, the police, the young men in uniform: your people are calling. The dictatorship has no future. Join your brothers and sisters. There is still time to choose the right side — the side of the Cuban family. In the name of Christ the King, rise up. With open hearts and clenched fists. No more fear. Fear belongs to them now. No more excuses. The homeland doesn’t wait. Freedom doesn’t negotiate. 2026 can be remembered forever as the year Cuba became free again — but only if you act today. Don’t let them buy you. Don’t let them scare you. Cubans have never been cowards. We are passionate. We are brave. We feel deeply — and right now that feeling must become courage in the streets. We see you. We feel your pain. We carry your rage and your faith. If you raise your voice, we will amplify it. If you step into the street, we will march with you from wherever we are. Díaz-Canel — your days are numbered. Your accomplices already smell the end. But the people? The people are just beginning. Rise, Cuban brother. Rise, Cuban sister. For your child. For the martyrs. For the ones still in prison. For the future that was stolen. Not tomorrow. Not next year. Today. In the name of Christ the King, with the Virgin watching over us, and with millions of Cuban hearts beating as one — ¡Cuba libre ya! Not one step back. We are with you. Always. The moment is here. Take it. President Donald J. Trump Secretary Marco Rubio Luis Vera 🎗🇨🇺 Elizabeth Vera Rep. María Elvira Salazar Representative Carlos Barron (R)
