It's now been three years since the RSF began a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide in Sudan. We need to save lives and pass the Stand Up for Sudan Act to cease all U.S. weapon sales to the United Arab Emirates. Shame on our country for enabling another genocide.

JUST IN: Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib has officially been censured for comments she made about Israel. The move comes after members of the Squad had all out meltdowns on the House floor in an effort to stop the censure. 22 Democrats turned against Tlaib, voting in favor of the censure resolution introduced by Georgia Rep. Rich McCormick. The resolution condemned Tlaib for "promoting false narratives" and "calling for the destruction of the state of Israel." Shortly after Hamas' Oct. 7th attack, Tlaib posted a video to social media which included a clip where pro-Palestine protestors are heard chanting "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." The Anti-Defamation League and several Jewish groups interprete this rallying cry to be calling for the destruction of Israel entirely. Rep. Tlaib claims she uses the slogan as "an aspirational call for freedom, human rights and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate." The video below is House Democrats melting down on the House floor earlier today.

⚡️ Rep. Rashida Tlaib pushes for urgent War Powers vote Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) said it remains unclear why a House vote on the War Powers Resolution has been delayed, citing possible attendance issues, but said leadership appears to want to move “as quickly as possible,” in remarks to Drop Site’s Lily Franks. “I hope we’re listening to the American people… who want this War Powers Resolution passed immediately,” Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib said, pointing to rising U.S. troop deployments and strong opposition to the war in her home state of Michigan. More than 50,000 U.S. troops are already in the region, with additional forces expected to bring the total above 55,000 as the Trump administration weighs a potential ground invasion.

BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled 6-3 that the Trump administration can proceed with ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian nationals currently living and working in the United States. Shannon Bream: “We read it as a win for the Trump administration, which has wanted to wipe out Temporary Protected Status for more than a million people who are living here in this country. These cases centered on Haitian and Syrian refugees.” “[The Court said] they can’t challenge this decision by DHS.”

🎥 Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s Lebanon War Powers Resolution was defeated Thursday, but not before forcing Congress to go on the record over U.S. support for Israel’s war in Lebanon. The measure drew support from 90 other lawmakers and prompted Democratic leadership to back a separate resolution they say would prevent direct U.S. involvement in the conflict. Ahead of the vote, Drop Site’s Julian Andreone caught up with Tlaib, who has said “Lebanon can’t wait,” as “every day that we do nothing, 11 more Lebanese children are killed or injured by the Israeli military in this U.S.-supported invasion.” After the vote, Tlaib vowed “this fight is not over” and urged House Democratic leadership to move forward with a new Lebanon War Powers Resolution. Watch the full interview below. Rashida Tlaib | Julian Andreone

The Supreme Court ruled last week that the Trump administration can strip the temporary immigration status of hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian people in the U.S. Temporary Protected Status or "TPS" is typically granted to immigrants fleeing war, natural disaster or other extraordinary conditions in their home country. CBS News' Vladimir Duthiers reflects on Haiti's history, TPS, and what the termination of the program means for many immigrants from the Caribbean country.

"You advocate for a terrorist regime every single day." A House debate over Hezbollah suddenly exploded into a shouting match. GOP Rep. Max Miller accused Rep. Rashida Tlaib of "advocating for terrorists on a daily basis" during remarks on the House floor, prompting immediate objections from the Michigan Democrat. The confrontation forced House leaders to restore order and added another flashpoint to the already tense debate over U.S. policy in the Middle East.

In June, the Supreme Court cleared the way to end Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians living in the U.S. Late last month, the Trump administration let that status expire, and, overnight, about 350,000 Haitians became at risk of deportation. The impact is now hitting Springfield, Ohio, a city that has been a political flashpoint in the immigration debate. Watch part of Stephanie Sy's report.

🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: The Supreme Court's decision impacts over 1 MILLION MIGRANTS currently in the United States President Trump's greenlight to end Temporary Protected Status is a DEVASTATING blow to the left's invasion! 🔥 "Hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Syrian immigrants now in the U.S. could soon be facing deportation after two big wins at the U.S. Supreme Court for the president." "The court held that the administration has the discretion to end temporary protected status or TPS for immigrants who have legal status — allowing them to be in the U.S. as a result of their home countries being deemed unsafe due to conditions like a natural disaster or war." "The relevant statute reads: 'there is no judicial review of any determination of the DHS secretary with respect to the designation or termination of extension of a designation.'" The liberal justices are fuming!

🇨🇺 CUBA | “We have incredible power to do good in the world… but we also have incredible power to do bad in the world — to threaten and to bully, to bring a country and a people to its knees,” said Rep. Pramila Jayapal, after visiting Cuba, which she described as a society rooted in “love” and “sharing” but being strangled by U.S. sanctions and a fuel blockade. Rep. Jonathan Jackson and Jayapal concluded a five-day official visit on April 5, meeting President Miguel Díaz-Canel, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, and members of parliament. They said the trip aimed to document the impact of U.S. policy firsthand and raise bilateral and human rights issues. In an interview with Belly of the Beast, the lawmakers described a severe humanitarian crisis driven by fuel shortages and power outages. Jayapal pointed to neonatal units at risk during blackouts, while Jackson said ventilators, incubators, and elevators are failing due to fuel shortages. The pair said Cuba’s leadership reiterated openness to direct negotiations with Washington, and pointed to a letter signed by 52 members of Congress urging the administration to end the fuel blockade. They described U.S. policy as “economic warfare,” with decades of sanctions and the blockade inflicting direct harm on civilians, and said momentum is building in Congress—and in the country more broadly—to confront and change the policy.

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib addressed the People’s Conference for Palestine in her hometown of Detroit today, where she paused to deliver a message to the “genocide-enablers” in the halls of power: “Look at this room, motherfuckers! We ain’t going anywhere.” The crowd erupted as Tlaib — the first and only Palestinian American in Congress — continued: “They thought they could kill us, rape us, imprison us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what? Now we’re in Congress.”

“Haiti is a failed state, and I think that deporting Haitians that are under TPS right now, back to Haiti, would be a huge mistake,” Rep. 🇸🇩 Washington is finalizing a UN-backed draft mechanism to implement and monitor a humanitarian ceasefire in Sudan and will send the draft to the warring parties in the coming days, Massad Boulos, Senior Africa Advisor for President Donald Trump, said at the Munich Security Conference this weekend. He said the proposal, coordinated with the UN and developed over weeks, is meant to anchor a broader political process. Boulos said Trump is determined to “end the war in Sudan” and halt what he acknowledged was the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, working through a Quartet of the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE. Meet the 2023 Antisemite of the Year - Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib! Tlaib beat out Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and supermodel Gigi Hadid for this year's title and inherits the title from 2022 Antisemite of the Year, Kanye West. Congresswoman Tlaib’s well-earned dishonor reflects a long history of antisemitism, but her statements in the wake of Hamas’s October 7 attacks were particularly unconscionable. She not only victim-blamed Israel, but she also accused it of committing genocide against the Palestinians and continues to defend calls to ethnically cleanse Israel of Jews through genocide. In July, Tlaib voted against a bill that asserted that Israel is not a racist or apartheid state and rejected all forms of antisemitism and xenophobia. Tlaib falsely accused the Jewish state of bombing a hospital, an incident later proven to be the result of a failed rocket launch by Palestinian terrorists. Despite the evidence, Tlaib persisted in her attacks against Israel, including endorsing false and incendiary claims of genocide. On November 3, she released a video accusing President Biden of supporting "the genocide of the Palestinian people" and calling for a ceasefire without mentioning the removal of Hamas terrorists or the return of hostages still being held in Gaza, including Americans. Tlaib also tweeted "From the river to the sea is an aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate." when in reality, it mirrors Hamas' battlecry for the full removal of the Jewish state. Exactly one month after Hamas’s October 7 attacks, Tlaib was censured for her antisemitic remarks by both Republicans and Democrats, becoming only the 26th member of the House of Representatives in U.S. history to be censured by her peers. This is a historically dangerous time for American Jews. Amid an explosion in antisemitic incidents and hate crimes, we can’t afford to have our elected representatives adding fuel to the fire!
