I supplied mine and still got screwed on the install. Took about 3 months. Most companies just bail on you if you have a general idea of how things work. They don’t like to be questioned. Or in some cases do the tough jobs. I had one tech tell me “ to really clean this coil right it needs to be taken outside so we can give it a good wash”. Soooooo why didn’t you do that? “Well it’s good now but next time you should do that” 🤦‍♂️

I think you hit the nail in the head Ken. Most companies bail on you when they find out how that you have a general idea of how things work. They hate working with knowledgeable people.

So why would you waste 3 companies time when you damn well know your way will be cheaper by a long shot?

Because I like to be reminded how much I’ll be saving every time I am replacing a unit. It feels so good when I save by the thousands. It feels like a dopamine hit.

Might get lucky , because it a package unit , $1400 with a crane rental you’re going get what you pay for. If it’s a split system it’s all about being installed correctly, people like you you make the worst customers.

That’s what everyone has been telling me since 2016. 🤣 People hate it when I come in on top. I have probably saved around $50,000 since then.
