REPORTER: "Does the administration have a response to a judge ordering the release of Rumeysa Ozturk from detention?" (Ozturk was the student nabbed by undercover ICE agents.) LEAVITT: "...We've made clear that lower-level judges shouldn't be dictating foreign policy."

The judge ordered Rumeysa Ozturk to be released on bail after ICE detained for criticizing Israel. "Abduction" and "abuse" claims lack of clear evidence. I guarantee that ICE will deport Rumeysa. Stay tuned. I personally think freedom of speech should be protected, if you’re protesting in a peaceful manner and it’s not inciting violence. I also feel…. If you’re here on a visa/green card, be respectful of others and don’t protest against anything. Go to school/work and live your life, free from the abuse you endured in your own country. If you can’t respect our country-Go back home. Stop this nonsense.

While the regime's elites send their daughters to study and live freely in the U.S. and Europe, our daughters in Iran are jailed for showing their hair. We will NOT stay silent while our sisters are caged for demanding their basic rights! #FreeIran #WomanLifeFreedom #EndTheRegime

"Foreign policy"??? You snatched a legal US resident, a Fulbright Scholar, off the street near her house and held her without charge for 7 weeks, just because you didn't like an op-ed she wrote in her college newspaper!

What an idiot. It’s about constitutional rights of free speech. No foreign policy is involved in this case.

Leavitt needs to go home

Ignore. Them. All.

They fight tooth and nail to keep them all here, which they knew was the plan. Deporting people is a huge problem now. Just a reminder, the tax payers are paying both sides the litigation. The best attorneys in America are not cheap either. It's all crazy!

This isn't foreign policy @PressSec , it's suppression of free speech and.....MASSIVE HYPOCRISY

I have an idea. Every time a lower level judge does something retarded, they get tossed and disbarred.

That's a no to you, Mohammed.

That's not foreign policy.
