Senator out in the catchments areas this stuff runs off straight into the North pine River then the Brisbane's drinking water along with 10-80 dog baits and the recycled water full of pharmaceutical products. How much poison in the water supply do we need pls raise this point.

I worked for a company importing plants from Queensland. The government body concerned taught the crew to kick the pots to check for fire ants... If they're there they'll get angry and you'll see them. Trust the science.

JCBs are being quite helpful as there is trouble in dousing the fire due to heat. The fire is caused due to gas that is produced in the landfill... There has been no casualty."

I want to ask three questions first, which will make it very clear that the BJP is directing and using the Election Commission to damage India's democracy. ❓ Why is it that the CJI was removed from the selection panel of the Election Commissioner? In its ruling to the application for the two to be produced by the state dead or alive (a writ of habeas corpus), court said, “I find that one cannot squeeze blood from a stone. Friends, the title of my ministry, Word on Fire, came from our Gospel for today. Jesus says to his disciples, “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!” This is not the lighting of a cozy campfire. This is closer to, if you want, Sodom and Gomorrah—to fire and brimstone. It is a dangerous and divisive fire. Christ is the light of the world, the divine luminosity—but to the degree that we are still in darkness, we will experience that light as something difficult, off-putting, even torturous.

UPDATE: The fire is out, investigators are on scene. The fire started on the outside of a duplex, burned through the wood deck, and climbed up into the attic on one side of the structure. Then it traveled down a wood fence, burning the back side of another structure, through the yard, to a vehicle. A few minutes into the fire, firefighters heard two explosions from propane tanks which helped fuel the fire. Crews were able to contain the fire to one side of the duplex. There is limited water damage on the other side. There were no injuries. Crews rescued a lizard, but a cat is still missing. The people inside the duplex were alerted by a neighbor who saw the fire, and ran to knock on the door to get them out. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Australians please note - you may not think this impacts you - but it does. It impacts all of us. Our basic civil rights are under attack. The police & fire ant personnel raided this man’s property at Bonogin. And when he tried to stop them, their force on how they assaulted him made him cut his hand where he needed stitches. My understanding is there were no fire ants on this property. Which he conveyed. But they entered anyway wearing masks and sprayed around toxic chemicals. There has been much discussion on how these chemicals are adversely impacting the natural environment. Step by step. Inch by inch. They are taking away our civil rights. Make no mistake - like everything the government touches - the “fire ant industry” has emerged to be just that. An industry which serves to feed those getting fat on tax payer dollars. Sound familiar? Wake up Australia and don’t be afraid to stand up for your rights.

I am not here to apologise, just like all the other branches, there are successes, but there is work to be done. At least in our favour, 15 years down the line, we still have a bicameral Parliament, we are able to impeach. There are two problems that I see: the problem between the National Assembly and the Senate. MPs are yet to learn that there is no government or opposition inside of Parliament, there is only the majority and minority and collectively we are supposed to oversight the Executive
