He had men in his clubs, he knew where he lived, he knew about his relationship with Angela, he studied Ghost's routine, right under his nose. Kanan once said that he's seen Ghost spooked before and it wasn't good for anyone. Hopefully, this is something we see in Power Origins, as threats and experiences like this at a young age, would have helped make Ghost the calculated, strategic character we originally saw in Power.
