Honestly, I am glad I did not waste my time at this pointless protest, because watching 30 plus, 40 plus and 50 plus uncles and aunties, along with young people who seem to have shown up mainly to give Ajit Bharti and his supporters free publicity, is hardly impressive; I am from the General Category myself, yet even among Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas there is enough internal fighting to expose the so called unity, while the need for reservation is understandable when you grow up seeing caste discrimination, untouchability and the obsession with asking people about their caste, so perhaps skipping this protest was the smarter choice.Ajit Bharti seems to be using this protest primarily to promote and strengthen his own political influence, while young people are willingly giving him free publicity instead of questioning what they are actually supporting.
