🌊 These waves are no joke officials have warned of life-threatening surf and rip currents along Southern California’s coast. And people are still getting this close. 😳 Would you risk standing on that beach to watch these waves?

Reminder to West Coast folks who don't see/get a lot of flooding. If you see standing water in the street, don't try to drive thru it with your small sedan. Even driving an SUV through water is a really bad idea, salt water destroys vehicles. Be safe out there everyone ❤️

Why do conservatives become social media fear mongers every time it rains in so cal?

People hear “8-foot waves + safety warning” and somehow translate it to “front-row seats available.” 😅🌊 Nature doesn’t care how good the video might look — stay back and stay safe. #California #LongBeach #TropicalStorm

Are folks aware that DARPA and HAARP are real?

That 8 foot wave against that 2 foot wall 🫣

my tiger parents would have said: stand behind the barricade, not on it. cheering an 8-foot wall of water is peak performative danger.

Nature doesn’t need permission to remind us who’s in control. Eight-foot waves are no spectacle to gamble with—heed the warnings and stay back.

Yeah that looks like a blast

Great post

Whats the caution tape for?

What is that cop doing there??? 😳

First quick read, thought you said "SUPERB El Nino season". Thought that was pretty f@#ked up. But, then I remembered how to read. Mea culpa.

That surf is no joke. 🌊 Long Beach has seen serious flooding and evacuations as Marie-driven waves and high tides battered the coast. Officials are urging people to stay away from the water.

It's their fate

8-foot waves crashing into Long Beach and people are cheering instead of running, that's peak California energy. But if this is just the start of a super El Niño, those same crowds won't be laughing when the real surges hit.
