I'm of the opinion that Kendrick didn't really think through the aftereffects of this beef‼️. To him it was a straight-up slam dunk‼️he had the whole industry in his corner, so what could possibly go wrong⁉️ But of course, the one thing that shouldn't have gone sideways totally did‼️. I love Drake but there is a pattern of lack of accountability in his music especially with the women he had an intimate relationship with‼️ in “Burning Bridges” off ICEMAN right away he starts the song with: “Burning bridges is okay, I’d rather take the long way.” then says Girl wants the LA family life⁉️Too bad, Toronto and the OVO boys need him more⁉️. That was him accepting the Heartbreak that came with losing her‼️ for the price of being the main character‼️ Dude’s basically saying the love is real‼️, the feels are real, but the second it asks for actual sacrifice or settling down⁉️💯, he peels off‼️💯. Loyalty to the crew and the empire becomes the perfect excuse to keep one foot out the door‼️. Classic “I would… but I just can’t” energy‼️💯
