Serious allegations of police brutality in Raidurgam Police Station of Cyberabad Commissionerate,Three Muslim Youths tortured while they were fasting : On 8th March at 12:20 AM near T-Hub opposite Niloufer Cafe, a cop allegedly slapped Mohammed Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef while he along with his freind was standing there, snatched his bike keys and phone, took them to Raidurgam Police Station, asking them to return in the morning to collect their bike. Next morning Fazal Ur Rahman Akeef along with Syed Areeb & Mohammed Sohail went to the Police Station. While waiting for the Inspector, they took photos of their bike & the police station board to inform their family. A cop allegedly ran towards them, snatched the phone and abused them for taking pictures. Soon after, the Inspector of Police Raidurgam arrived and called all three inside his room. After checking their Aadhaar cards, phones, driving licence and bike papers, the Inspector allegedly ordered the cops present to beat them. All three muslim youths were brutally assaulted with hands, tyre chappals and kicked with shoes. Despite repeatedly informing that they were fasting in the holy month of Ramzan, the beating allegedly continued. One youth Syed Areeb had recently undergone head tumor surgery and was suffering from fractured collar bone & hand. Even after showing his surgery stitches and injuries, the assault reportedly continued. My message to every senior officer identify your talented sportspersons, back them with proper nutrition, physiotherapy and structured coaching never treat sports as a waste of time. For me, the game is meditation. It keeps me steady through the most demanding of days, and every officer deserves that outlet too. Today’s anti-Israel demonstration was ordered by Metropolitan Police not to start until 13:30 as a minor concession by the organisers to allow congregants to leave the synagogue after services without having to walk through throngs of marchers. Despite this, the organisers chose to form up at 12:00. Police had to be deployed near the entrances to nearby synagogues and on street corners regardless, and we have heard from parents who were afraid to walk home with their children. Not only are the organisers of these marches refusing to respect local communities and the police, but neither are the protesters. Met police officers who, rightly, were arresting a woman holding a sign that read “Long Live the Intifada” were confronted by angry demonstrators chanting “Shame on you”. The reason these protests are so hard to police is because it is not just the overt criminals who cause disruption, but it is the criminals who walk alongside them and attack the police when they move in. This means dozens of police — who are considerably outnumbered to begin with — are required to effect one arrest. Sir Mark Rowley has accepted that there is a threat to synagogues and Jewish people but has still not banned the marches or placed meaningful restrictions on them. He has sent 1,500 officers to police tens of thousands of people and they are getting beaten up doing their jobs. For shame.

When sent to hospital for medical examination and blood test which is the standard protocol of investigation, they refused.
