Let's compare the app opening and closing animations in iOS 27 Beta 1 and One UI 8.5. The app animations in iOS 27 are not significantly different from those in iOS 26, and some long-standing issues are still present. When you tap an app icon, the animation does not start instantly and still feels slightly delayed, making the system response appear less immediate. The same applies when returning to the home screen. There is still a brief hesitation at the very beginning of the animation before the full transition starts. One UI 8.5, on the other hand, delivers top-tier performance, especially after my own tuning and optimization. Whether opening an app or returning to the home screen, the animations feel almost perfectly synchronized with your finger movements. The response is immediate, the transitions are smoother, and the overall experience feels more natural and connected.

Based on Jonathan Swift’s novel, this Fleischer Studio film, used 'rotoscoping', a new animation technique developed by Max Fleischer. Excited to share our latest work on 🎧spatial audio-driven human motion generation. We aim to tackle a largely underexplored yet important problem of enabling virtual humans to move naturally in response to spatial audio—capturing not just what is heard, but also where the sound is coming from. To this end, we introduce the Spatial Audio-Driven Human Motion (SAM) dataset—the first comprehensive dataset featuring paired high-quality human motion and spatial audio recordings. For benchmarking, we develop a generative framework for human MOtion generation driven by SPAtial audio, termed MOSPA, which learns to synthesize realistic and diverse human motions conditioned on spatial audio input. We hope this research could provide a foundation for future research in spatial perception, virtual characters, and embodied AI. The dataset and model will be open-sourced soon. One UI 8's latest version, ZYES, is the smoothest version I've ever experienced, smoother than all previous versions of One UI 7 and One UI 8. I can confirm that it has optimized the App startup animation again, making it more natural, smoother, and non-linear. Please watch the video I recorded. And the most important thing is that ZYES responds too fast. Watch my video, when I click the icons of One UI 8 and One UI 7 at the same time, you can see that the response speed of ZYES on the left is much faster.
