PRESS RELEASE | Hon’ble PM Unveils Loiter Munition Test Range and MALE UAV Runway Test Facility at Solar Nagpur. Big push to Self-reliance in Unmanned Aerial Systems Hon’able PM on his visit to Nagpur on 30 Mar 2025, made his last halt of the day at Solar Defence & Aerospace Ltd (SDAL) Nagpur. Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman and Mr Raghav Nuwal welcomed the Hon’able PM at SDAL Helipad. From there he was escorted to Technical Area where Hon’ble PM inaugurated Loiter Munition Test Range. Spread over 1080 acres this test range has a dedicated Command & Control Centre, UAV Take off Area, Endurance and Communication Range check facility, Parachute Recovery Area, Static & Moving Target Engagement, Target Hit and CEP Measurement, Warhead Lethality Test facility, and many more. After the inauguration the PM visited the product gallery wherein SDAL showcased its products like Pinaka Rocket System, Air-bombs, Mines, Grenade, Military Explosives, ATGM, Nagastra 1 & 2 Loiter Munitions, and many more. Thereafter, the PM was then escorted by the Chairman to the newly constructed Air strip where he was received by Mr. Manish Nuwal, MD & CEO, SDAL. He then proceeded to unveil the Plaque to mark the Inauguration of the new 1.27 km Runway Facility for Development & Testing of MALE/HALE Class Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Key highlights of displayed systems are as follows: - • Loitering Munitions: Many Indian industries and start-ups have entered drone related technologies and systems mostly focused on surveillance and logistics applications. Use of drones and UAVs for combat applications requires critical competency and infrastructure. Keeping in view the futuristic requirements of this emerging technology, SIDAL has taken the initiative to develop Nagastra series of Loiter Munitions of ranges from 15 km to more than 100 km and explosive payload carrying capability from 1 kg to 10 kg. Nagastra 3 is a Vehicle Launched Loiter Munition System of endurance 3 hours, range 100 km and can carry 8.5 kg warhead. It is being developed under Make 2 project from Arty of Indian Army. • Bhargavastra is an indigenously designed and developed Counter Drone System meant for quick interception of drones for an assured hard kill using tiny, guided missiles with swarm engagement capability. This solution offers mobile protection against drone attacks with near simultaneous engagement of multiple drones. With a long range of detection (upto 6 km) and long range of neutralization (upto 2.5 km), it ensures safety of vulnerable assets/battlefield formations. • SDAL has taken an initiative to address the global menace of land mines detection and disposal. As per some estimates there are more than 11 million buried mines world over which remain uncleared and are causing casualties or maiming of both soldiers and civilians in peace time. Bhaumastra, a drone-based system under development by SDAL, would be the first of its kind in any developed nation to provide a drone-based solution to this global problem. It was a proud and inspirational moment for all the 10,000 employees of Solar Group, Nagpur to be witness to this important milestone in the History of their Company where the Prime Minister was among their midst. The video shows Russian propagandists outlining Russia’s plans to destroy Ukraine’s maritime infrastructure and "cut the country off from the sea." In November 2025, the number of Russian air attacks on Ukraine’s Black Sea ports nearly doubled compared to October. According to the Monitoring Group of the Black Sea Institute of Strategic Studies: Based on monitoring conducted from January to November 2025, the Russian armed forces carried out at least 152 missile and drone attacks of various types on the ports of Velyka Odesa, ports in southern Odesa region, and the region’s energy and industrial infrastructure. These included: 29 attacks in November, 16 in October, and 11 in September. Recorded among them: • At least 38 missile attacks of various types (November - 3; October - 2; September - 3); • At least 114 attacks using drones and decoy drones such as Shahed-136/131, Geran/Gerbera, etc. (November - 27; October - 13; September - 8); • At least 46 Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles were used (November - 3; October - 3; September - 6). November saw a sharp increase not only in the number of drone attacks, but also in the number of drones deployed in each strike. The number of attacks in November doubled compared to October (from 13 to 27). Double strikes within a single day (night-day, morning-evening, etc.) became systematic: nine days recorded two attacks in 24 hours, and one day recorded three. There were individual attacks involving more than 30, and in some cases over 40 drones. Thus, it can be estimated that in November alone, Russian forces used at least 300 drones in attacks on Odesa region. In total, no fewer than 1,200 drones of various types were used against the region from January to November 2025. From January to November 2025, 15 attacks on vessels in Odesa-region ports were recorded, damaging 28 vessels (27 civilian, 1 naval). Civilian fatalities were reported, and port infrastructure was damaged. Vessels damaged: • November - 11 (6 ships, 3 barges, 2 pontoons); • October - 3; • September - 0; • August - 5 (including 1 naval vessel); • July - 5; • June - 0. Russia dreams of "cutting Ukraine off from the sea." But they will not succeed.

Federal laws, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, aim to curb illegal financial inducements, but it continues to go on everyday within Orthopedics: 🔴DePuy Synthes Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, settled allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by providing kickbacks to an orthopedic surgeon in exchange for using their products. 🔴Device maker Life Spine and two of its executives admitted to paying consulting fees to incentivize surgeons to use their implants. 🔴Southeast Orthopedic Specialists agreed to pay a settlement for falsely billing for services not properly supervised by a physician. The Nordic Trio: A Tough Match for Russian Corvettes Russian corvettes are among the most heavily armed on the planet, but they would run into trouble against their Nordic counterparts. The Russian corvettes of the Karakurt class are the most heavily armed ones I know of. They carry Kalibr missiles with a range of 2,500 km and hypersonic Zircon missiles. They would be capable of inflicting significant damage on the entire European fleet, which lacks defenses against the Zircon. The Karakurt also features a version of the Pantsir system with a range of 40 km, tested for intercepting ballistic missiles. Yes, the Karakurt demonstrates how the concept of sea dominance can shift with even small vessels capable of projecting power over long distances. However, there is a trio that would serve as a formidable barrier to the Russian corvettes: the Skjold, Hamina, and Visby. The stealth corvettes from Finland, Sweden, and Norway would be a massive headache for the Karakurt, precisely because of their small size and stealth architecture. The Karakurt may possess Kalibr missiles with a 2,500 km range or Zircons capable of reaching nearly 1,000 km, but to locate their targets, the Karakurt relies on drones like the Altius-U, equipped with a multimode sensor suite and multiple capabilities. Facing this trio would not be an easy match for the Altius, precisely because these vessels are designed for operations in contested environments, with an emphasis on low observability. Imagine trying to locate the Skjold, with its advanced stealth design featuring radar-absorbent materials, angular shapes, and a drastically reduced RCS, weighing only 270 tons? On the Altius's radar, it might appear as a small fishing boat under good conditions. And what about the Hamina? Built with aluminum and a composite superstructure (Kevlar and absorbent materials), it reduces radar, thermal, magnetic, and acoustic signatures. With a very low RCS, it would blend into maritime clutter (waves and small objects), operating in silent mode with electronic jamming. And the Visby? This is the stealthiest of all. Made from carbon fiber composites, with angular shapes, retractable/embedded weapons, and reductions in all signatures (RCS up to 99% lower, IR, acoustic, magnetic, hydrodynamic wake), plus advanced jamming and optimized operations to deny aerial sensors. All of them leverage integration with archipelagos for natural camouflage. What could the Altius-U do? Its active radar would need to operate in high-resolution modes, with drastically reduced range (possibly just a few dozen km); EO/IR for optical/thermal identification at extreme close range; SIGINT/ELINT to capture any residual emissions. This would require multiple drones operating in a coordinated manner with much greater exposure, putting the drones at risk from anti-air defenses, plus a bit of luck. By this point, larger vessels might have already been turned into fish habitats by the Zircons and Kalibrs, but this trio would still be standing. The resilience of this trio would force the Karakurt to risk approaching and entering the range of the Nordic corvettes, which are well armed with modern missiles. To make it even harder, all three have ASW capabilities, which would require attention from submarines. The truth is that the Karakurt's target acquisition would only face difficulties in Nordic waters or regions within range of coastal batteries, putting the corvettes themselves at risk. But with greater range and lower visibility, the Russian corvettes would terrorize larger vessels. The Karakurt are capable of providing area denial over thousands of kilometers, demonstrating a new concept in naval area denial. Specifically at this case, The Altius-U would prioritize radar for wide-area scanning, followed by EO/IR and SIGINT for refinement, but the stealth of these corvettes reduces effective ranges and increases failure risks.

We are concluding the ninth day of Operation 'Rising Lion,' during which we expanded our achievements in the campaign against the Iranian regime across all domains. This evening, we carried out a strike deep within Iranian territory using approximately 60 fighter jets guided by precise intelligence. On screen is footage from the past few minutes: An Israeli Air Force aircraft struck three Iranian military F-14 fighter jets. The strike was carried out in the heart of Iran. We are hitting every element in the missile production chain, preventing the Iranian military from advancing its strategic capabilities. Our forces are simultaneously intensifying their efforts to degrade the launch capabilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' missile arrays. They are doing so through preemptive intelligence-based identification and the implementation of dozens of aerial vehicles that are scanning the area. The Iranian regime’s missile launch capabilities are merely a fraction of what they were at the outset of the operation. This morning, we announced the elimination of Saeed Izadi, commander of the Palestine Corps in the Quds Force and the coordinator between the Iranian regime and the Hamas terrorist organization. Izadi was one of the architects of the October 7th massacre. Since the beginning of the war, Izadi has attempted to transfer millions of dollars’ worth of weapons to the Hamas terrorist organization. Thanks to continuous intelligence gathering, this attempt was thwarted. About a month ago, our forces in the Gaza Strip conducted a search in the European Hospital — the same location where we located and eliminated Mohammad Sinwar, the mastermind of October 7th, along with other senior Hamas operatives. The underground complex built beneath the hospital served as a shelter for Hamas’s senior leadership. Unique intelligence was found during the search, including correspondence between Mohammad Sinwar and Saeed Izadi, clearly proving the direct connection between the IRGC and Hamas. Izadi and Sinwar were engaged in the financing, rebuilding, and rearming of Hamas against Israel. We cut that connection and disrupted the arms transfer. Another significant elimination was Behnam Shahriyari, responsible for transferring weapons from the Iranian regime to Hezbollah and other proxies across the Middle East. These two targeted eliminations are part of the continued effort to dismantle Iran’s network of proxies, a central pillar of its campaign to destroy the State of Israel. Today we struck western Iran using dozens of fighter jets and precise intelligence. We targeted military radar detection systems and air defense batteries as part of a broader effort to achieve aerial superiority throughout Iranian airspace. This air superiority has enabled us to strike missile command centers, UAV infrastructure, and to destroy military storage facilities and launch tunnels for rockets and missiles — as well as close the loop on launchers that had fired at Israeli territory. This morning, alerts were triggered in several areas following the infiltration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. No injuries were reported. Over the past week, over 1,000 UAVs were launched from Iran toward Israel. Only a small number penetrated Israeli airspace. Helicopters, fighter jets, naval vessels, and aerial defense systems continuously surround the State of Israel, working in coordination to intercept and prevent these intrusions. The majority of UAVs were intercepted outside Israel’s borders — a remarkable operational achievement."

Their landing pads were made by a bouncy castle company. They went to Rwanda with no aviation experience, no logistics experience, no healthcare experience. Co-founder and CEO Keller Cliffton wore tennis shoes and a hoodie to meet the president of the country. The night before the launch, he was on his back in the dirt with a screwdriver in his mouth, trying to rebuild a launcher that kept destroying itself, while the president's special forces watched. The aircraft flew. Keller was just as surprised as everyone else. Nine months of all-nighters after that Rwanda launch, they got one hospital working reliably. Then 20 more in three months. Then 50. Then 400. Today Zipline serves 5,000 hospitals globally and has flown 135 million autonomous miles. To find the best hardware builders in the world, Zipline often hires teenagers. This year Demis Hassabis predicted AI could cure all disease in a decade. But Claus Wilke & Derek Lowe say biology is far more complex, or progress will be limited by clinical trials & economics. In a new 4hr episode of the Hard Drugs podcast, we answer: Will AI solve medicine and cure all diseases (within a decade)? We talk about drug discovery, virtual cells, the Human Genome Project, manufacturing, nanobots, innovative clinical trial design, and much more. AI is already being used in drug discovery, and there’s been a lot of progress predicting the structure of soluble proteins, tweaking proteins and designing new structures, as we’ve covered in previous episodes. But there’s still a huge gap in understanding protein dynamics and interactions, as there are many areas where measurement tools and data collection are limited, including events that happen in the span of milliseconds or microseconds, which is how fast many things occur in biological systems. And while computing has scaled exponentially with Moore’s Law, drug development has faced the opposite: Eroom’s Law, where innovation has gotten more complex and more expensive over time. Even with promising drug candidates, we talk about why human testing – not in animals or virtual cells – will continue to be vital, to test which ones are effective and safe, even though models will help earlier in the pipeline. Beyond that, large samples and long follow ups are needed to detect rare side effects, understand whether drugs cause long-term complications, and find ways to manage them. It’s hard to see AI getting around the desire for rigorous safety data in real humans. Another big challenge is the capital and expertise needed to produce and scale personalized medicines and complex biological products, surgeries, transplants, antibodies, and gene-editing tools, which have entirely different cost structures from small molecule drugs. Mystery 'Solved'? Radiation Spikes in NY & NJ Metro Detected Amid Drone Sightings There have been significant radiation spikes detected in the New York and New Jersey Metro areas amid a spate of ‘mysterious’ drone sightings. One theory that has been floated by a subject matter expert named John Ferguson, the CEO of a military drone company named Saxon Aerospace, is that these drones are flying at night because they are searching for gas leaks or radioactive material. Drones typically don't fly at night unless they are equipped with special sensors; these may include infrared or thermal imaging, as well as gas and radioactivity sensing technology. Two locations in the NY/NJ metro area have been flagged as condition "red," with CPM (counts per minute) levels exceeding the safety threshold of 200 CPM over the past week, according to the Geiger Counter World Map. One 1000 CPM reading was detected at Hamilton Park in Weehawken, New Jersey, across the Lincoln Tunnel going into New York City, while the other was detected near Fort Hamilton, which is located near the Verrazano Narrows bridge. These readings are markedly higher than typical background radiation levels, raising concerns about localized environmental or industrial factors that may be contributing to these spikes. The CPM metric measures the number of radioactive particles detected in a given area per minute, using Geiger counters. This does not directly quantify the strength of the radiation but provides an indication of its presence. For reference, a typical background radiation level is around 30–50 CPM, while readings above 100 CPM may indicate an anomaly requiring attention. There are military drones and unmanned flight systems that use radioactive fuel sources, although such designs are typically considered to be “experimental” due to safety, regulatory, and operational constraints. Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators or RTGs use radioactive isotopes, such as plutonium-238, to generate electricity through thermoelectric conversion. These have been more commonly used in space missions (e.g., NASA's Voyager probes) but have been considered for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in specific scenarios where long endurance and reliability are critical. RTGs typically use isotopes like plutonium-238, which primarily emit alpha particles. Alpha radiation cannot travel far and is usually blocked by the outer casing of the RTG. It is unlikely to directly contribute to a 1,000+ CPM spike unless the RTG casing is compromised, exposing the radioactive material. Some radioactive decay chains produce beta particles and gamma rays, which can penetrate the RTG casing to some extent. Gamma radiation, in particular, can travel significant distances and could lead to elevated Geiger counter readings. However, radiation escaping from a well-functioning RTG is minimal and typically not detectable at a significant distance. However, if the RTG casing is damaged or degraded, radioactive material could leak, leading to higher-than-normal CPM readings. More plausible or at least common forms of radiation capable of causing Geiger counter spikes would be leakage from medical isotopes (e.g., cesium-137 or cobalt-60), industrial equipment accidents, or environmental contamination. However, increased military activity into the areas may introduce variables such as top secret equipment that may be associated with radioactivity spikes. Agencies like DARPA have explored advanced power systems for drones, including nuclear-based options, but details are often classified. DARPA’s SIGMA program also equips the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey with an advanced radiation detection system, enhancing counterterrorism efforts and radiological threat monitoring across the region's critical infrastructure. SIGMA, operational since late 2019, uses networked sensors—stationary, vehicle-mounted, and wearable—to provide real-time radiation detection and alert capabilities. The mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey took an unexpected turn with an ABC 7 News crew capturing video footage of a strange, white orb floating in the Mendham Township sky. The reporter described the phenomenon as unidentifiable and urged residents to submit similar videos for expert analysis. The unexplained activity has also included sightings over military bases, intensifying demands for clarity from public officials as speculation swirls about the drones' origins, including theories that they may have been sent by foreign adversaries. While National Security Council spokesman John Kirby dismissed over 3,000 reports as mistaken observations of helicopters or airplanes, his statements contradict confirmations from military officials at New Jersey's Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle of unauthorized drone breaches. AAI clearances delay UAV testing at Challakere ATR despite surge in desi programmes By Anantha Krishnan Muralidharan Nair Tarmak Media House #TMH FORT KOCHI (KERALA), 19 MAY 2025: India’s push for indigenous unmanned aerial systems is encountering turbulence at the Aeronautical Test Range (ATR) near Chitradurga, Karnataka, with multiple UAV developers raising concerns over persistent delays caused by mandatory clearances from the Airports Authority of India (AAI). A subscale High-Altitude Platform (HAP) UAV, developed by CSIR-NAL, recently achieved back-to-back test flights at 24,000 ft AMSL, demonstrating notable robustness and reliability. The test missions were conducted from the DRDO-run ATR, which falls under the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE). Its surrounding airspace must be reserved solely for defence testing. The current SOPs involving repeated NOTAMs are delaying critical trials. Social media reports no longer list the total number of drones that impact within their country, with the daily rollup reports instead stating the number of drones and missiles that were "dealt with". Due to the video confirmation of drones impacting within Dubai overnight, these reports are now openly misleading, as the number of successful Iranian strikes remains unreported. -HomeFront- Michigan: Yesterday afternoon a vehicle ramming and small arms attack was reported at Temple Israel, one of the largest synagogues in Michigan. The attack began as a vehicle ramming attack targeting the main entrance to the facility. After the suspect breached the entrance, he exited the vehicle and was engaged by security personnel on site, who neutralized the attacker. Initial reports claim that the suspect also had explosives inside his vehicle, however authorities have not confirmed this yet as the vehicle caught fire during the incident and burned down a substantial portion of the structure, including the suspect. No one but the attacker was killed during the attack. Analyst Comment: The suspect in this case has been identified as Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a naturalized US Citizen originally from Lebanon. Some sources claim that he conducted the attack due to to his family being killed in an Israeli airstrike on a refugee camp in Beirut yesterday, however these claims cannot be independently verified at this time. Either way, the suspect attacked the 12,000-member synagogue on a Thursday afternoon when almost no one was at the facility, which is an indicator that the terrorist did not have much time to plan the attack. More information is expected later on, as forensic analysis of the remains and vehicle debris is conducted. Virginia: Yesterday a mass shooting was reported at Old Dominion University after a terrorist entered a classroom and began targeting students. Local authorities state that a lone gunman entered an ROTC classroom at ODU shortly before 11:00am yesterday morning, first shooting the instructor, who has been identified as LTC Brandon Shah. Immediately after the first shots were fired, the cadets in the classroom mounted a counterattack, using violence of action to subdue the attacker. At some point during the attack one cadet produced a pocket knife which was subsequently utilized in stabbing the attacker to death. The assailant was found dead by police at the scene after being stabbed 22x times. Analyst Comment: The suspect in this case has been identified as Mohamad Bailor Jalloh, a naturalized US citizen from Sierra Leone and former National Guard soldier who had previously been convicted of attempting to carry out a terrorist attack. READ & KEARNEY LEGAL TEAMS USE INFORMATION FROM A KNOWN LIAR & FRAUDSTER TO FILE INFLAMMATORY MOTIONS: KEARNEY ADMITS HE KNEW IT WAS ALL LIES On March 28th, Read’s legal team filed a confounding motion for discovery requesting, among other things, any witnesses reluctant to testify, any witness who had been given an inducement, and any witness who would be changing their testimony. The motion was allowed with no objection by the Commonwealth, but that didn’t stop the confusion the motion had caused. Who didn’t want to testify? Who had been “induced”? Who had threatened to change testimony? And where was the Defense getting information that any of these things occurred? Things became a bit clearer on April 26th, when during his live show, Aidan Kearney went on a rant about a person with the initials “JD” regarding information this person had been supplying to Read’s team, specifically David Yannetti as well as his own attorneys. At the time, Kearney railed that he knew “everything about that” and that the information was “conspiratorial bullshit”. Further, Kearney threatened “JD” aka Jean from Dorchester aka Jean Colantonio, that she “better come through” or “shut the fuck up”. Two days later, on 04/28, Kearney’s legal team, led by Timothy J. Bradl, P.C. and Bederow Law, filed a motion to compel discovery with an affidavit from a redacted individual, the aforementioned “JD” from his rant, that contained wild claims such as the CW was paying Kate Peter $1500 a month via cash app, Jennifer McCabe had bribed Peter with a couch purchase, Lally admitted to jury tampering in the first trial during a lunch with Peter, among other fantastical claims, none of which were supported by any kind of documented evidence. Interestingly, neither Bradl nor Bederow penned the affidavit for JD. That job was left to the paralegal, Courtney Healy. Kearney proudly advertised the motion and affidavit on his blog and presented the claims as credible along with other smears directed towards Peter. He followed this up with tweet that included a picture of the affiant’s door covered in papers claiming the affiant was being harassed at her residence by Peter. The apartment “JD” lived in just happened to be located in the same apartment building Peter resides in. Strangely, the picture of “JD” that had been posted on her door with the word “RAT” written over her face was that of her driver’s license, something only “JD” would possess. In leaked texts this week, Kearney admitted he knew “JD” was lying, but a “sworn affidavit means something” which when paired with Kearney’s threats to “JD” on his live show, begins to give the appearance of coercion to suborn perjury. What’s worse, Kearney has allowed his legal team to this day to continue on with this farce including using information in the affidavit in other filings and oral arguments. And as bad as it looks at this point, there are also additional allegations of text messages which show Timothy Bradl was heavily involved in obtaining this information from “JD” and helping her retain counsel to clear open warrants she had. It is also alleged that a hotel room was paid for by a third party for “JD” and Bradl personally thanked the party for doing so. So what did Timothy J. Bradl, P.C. , Bederow Law, David Yannetti, and Alan Jackson know about “JD” when they supplied information to the court from this person? Did either of these legal teams do a cursory search of her background? I may be “just a random housewife with lace curtains” but even I was able to see within 30 minutes this person has a history of fraud. Why would either team take the risk of filing under oath motions that either contained suspect information or that may have been based on highly suspect information from an unreliable source with a history of lying? And finally, why did Bradl procure legal services and housing for the affiant? Were they in exchange for her sworn affidavit? We are all ears if any of them wish to answer or correct the record

Analyst Comment: The fuel crisis in Ireland is a complicated endeavor and it's not entirely just about fuel costs at this point. Initially, protesters primarily have been demonstrating against rising fuel costs brought on by the war in the Middle East. A few days ago this escalated when protesters took the accelerationist approach, and blocked the entrance to Whitegate Refinery in Cork Harbor to make the price of fuel go even higher and thus make the issue everyone's problem. As a secondary result of blocking the entry/exit of vehicles from Ireland's only refinery, roughly 40% of Ireland's gasoline supply was cut off in an instant, and prices not only skyrocketed, but now the sheer supply itself is also running out. The tertiary effect of this effort has spiraled into a larger movement that is no longer solely about fuel costs, but also about general corruption and anti-government sentiments. This has in turn resulted in other protesters taking to the roadways around the country to stop traffic, and effectively compound all of the previous demonstration tactics, which has now resulted in the Army being called up to clear roadways and restore some sort of order. -HomeFront- North Carolina: Yesterday the FBI arrested one former DoD civilian employee on charges of leaking classified information to a journalist. Courtney Williams (a former employee of U.S. Special Operations Command) was arrested after allegedly conveying classified material to Seth Harp for his book about alleged drug trafficking and criminal enterprises within JSOC. Williams appeared as a named source for some of the material in the piece, which allegedly included classified material. Analyst Comments: Contradicting media reports on the topic, the press release for this arrest confirms that this has nothing to do with the current conflict in Iran. Many media sources are claiming that this individual was the person who leaked details of the F-15 which was shot down over Iran a few days ago, however this is blatantly false. The DoJ states that the leaks of classified information occurred between 2022 and 2025, and contained information that Williams had access to when she worked for a clandestine military unit between 2010 and 2016. The DoJ has not made any comment regarding any arrest made specifically in conjunction with the current war in Iran. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: At the moment, Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz. There is no US Navy presence to provide Freedom of Navigation, and the Iranians have threatened to destroy any vessel that attempts to pass without their permission. The potential confirmation of sea mines being laid in the Strait adds another complicating factor as if the Iranian's claims are true, someone is going to have to demine this region at some point. Doctrinally speaking, the chief concern with minefields is that even if no mines are laid, the accusation alone is enough to prevent anyone from entering the area until clearance operations have been conducted. Any vessel can be a minesweeper exactly one time, but most insurance companies are unlikely to support such endeavors for the vessels that they underwrite policies for. Conveniently, the safe route suggested by the IRGCN (to avoid the sea mines they have laid) takes commercial vessels through their waters via the Larak Island tollbooth route. So far, only a handful of vessels have transited the Strait, all of which used the Larak Island route and passed with Iranian permission. Government mind control is the stuff of conspiracy theories. Many homeless people suffering from schizophrenia or meth-induced psychosis claim to be victims of it. And it is common to find people online who say they are victims of mind control, directed energy weapons, and gang-stalking by government agents. These delusions appear to have arisen after evidence emerged in the 1970s that the CIA was engaged in mind-control efforts, the subject of a congressional hearing last week. The CIA’s MKUltra program, for example, tested LSD on prisoners and hospital patients without their consent. After World War II, the CIA may have continued Nazi experiments into mind control, even using former Nazi doctors and operating a black site in Germany where some victims died, testified a journalist-turned-historian. “Kurt Blome, who was the chief of biological weapons development for the Nazi government, came to work for the CIA,” noted former New York Times reporter Stephen Kinzer, who authored Poisoner in Chief about the head of MKUltra. “So did Walter Schreiber, who was the surgeon general of the Nazi army.” The hearing that Rep. Anna Paulina Luna convened on June 30 did not receive much media attention, likely because some of it covered what is viewed in Washington, D.C., as old news. The CIA released MKUltra financial files in 1977. The two witnesses, Kinzer and Tom O’Neill, both published their books in 2019. The two testified that little new information had come to light since then. But the hearing was significant in part because O’Neill raised the possibility that the CIA’s mind control research may never have ended. “Did it continue?” O’Neill said. “I don’t know. I can’t imagine that it didn’t, though, because the technology — that they worked to establish over 20, 25 years and spent more money on than any operation the CIA ever conducted — was successful. I imagine it’s being used.” Jolly West, a doctor and MKUltra contractor, reported in 1956 that, through the use of LSD and other drugs, he could “speed the induction of the hypnotic state and deepen the trance,” after which he could replace “true memories” with “false ones” in people’s minds without them knowing it. Two years earlier, a 34-year-old Air Force sergeant with no history of violent or criminal behavior murdered a three-year-old girl in an apparent trance state. West was assigned to be the man’s psychiatric expert. It turned out that the sergeant had been, ostensibly, undergoing an experimental treatment for his migraine headaches at the base. O’Neill points to connections between the West and the Manson Family murders without drawing definitive conclusions. In his book, Chaos, O’Neill reveals that West visited the jail cell of Jack Ruby, who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin of President John F. Kennedy, just hours before Ruby had a psychotic break. The CIA destroyed MKUltra evidence, lied to Congress about it, and fabricated false reports, including the one by West. But there are many MKUltra files, photos, and films still out there, said the witnesses, sitting in the archives and attics of the 80 scientific, medical, and university institutions and at least 185 non-government researchers. In fact, a large new body of documents, photographs, and films about apparent mind control and psychic warfare will soon come to light. The son of Andrija Puharich — an American physician, scientist, and inventor who used teenagers in his psychic experiments — gave documentary filmmaker Greg Mallozzi access to his father’s archive, which includes numerous recordings. “I worked as a consultant to the CIA,” Puharich says in one of them. “My boss was the chief medical director who’s in charge of all the dirty tricks stuff when it came to drugs and hypnosis and all the mind manipulation stuff.” The new documentary is called “Mind Traveler” and will be released this fall.... NEW YORK TIMES JOURNALISTS ISSUED SUBPOENAS REGARDING THEIR REPORTING ON AIR FORCE ONE.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- Middle East: The war continued to escalate overnight, with the attack/counterattack cycle no longer being distinguishable, as all belligerents are now attacking constantly. At least two more ships have been struck in the Strait of Hormuz since last night, and the US has continued to fly continuous sorties to strike targets within Iran. Dozens of targets were struck overnight, with CENTCOM announcing that the sorties took 5 hours to complete throughout the region. As of this morning, nearly all of the targets that have been struck have been within a few hundred yards of the Gulf, with heavy concentrations of targets being located within Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Chabahar, and Jask, all of which are major naval bases. Most of the Gulf islands have also been struck, with Qeshm and Kish Islands being targeted heavily this afternoon. Conversely, Iran has conducted their own strikes in Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. In Kuwait, Iranian forces have conducted counter-battery fire on American HIMARS missile launcher sites, with multiple ballistic missile strikes taking place at most of the US bases and missile launch sites all day. Analyst Comment: Over the past 24 hours, the war in the Middle East has returned to the level of fighting first observed during the height of the war back in March. How long this is planned to continue is unknown, but this is not a slight increase in targeting; the war appears to be fully back on once again. United Kingdom: This morning Counterterrorism police released more details regarding a high-profile murder case that took place last week. On Thursday, Ann Widdecombe was found murdered in her home in the town of Haytor in Devon. After her murder was discovered, local authorities immediately referred the case to counterterrorism, and one suspect has already been arrested in conjunction with this case. This suspect has been charged for the murder, and as of this morning terrorism offenses have been added to the list of charges. Analyst Comment: This case is noteworthy as most of the information so far indicates this was a political assassination, and the speed at which authorities have immediately declared this to be a terrorism incident is very, very unusual. Widdecombe was a former Member of Parliament, and in her later years was a familiar conservative political commentator known to weigh in on political issues throughout the nation. More details may or may not come to light in due time regarding the identity of the suspect, but due to the high-profile nature of this murder, this case will be in the headlines for a while. -HomeFront- Washington D.C. - Yesterday a total of five New York Times reporters have been subpoenaed to appear before a grand jury, to testify regarding their reporting on the alleged security breaches onboard the new Air Force One. Last week, President Trump flew to Turkey for the NATO summit on the new airframe, but during the trip, an undisclosed security issue prompted the Secret Service to switch back to the older platform. Analyst Comment: The details of exactly what the alleged crimes are, have not been disclosed. The New York Times has a history of publishing content which could lead to security issues, but in this case nothing they wrote in their original report appears to have been classified. However, they did explicitly state that they had a source who had classified knowledge of the defenses (or rather, the alleged lack of defenses) on the new Air Force One platform, which is probably why the harsh crackdown on the New York Times. They also made the claim that the new airframe has not had enough time to install the anti-missile countermeasures of the older platform, though no detail on this was provided. Regardless, talking to journalists in any capacity about any of the protection measures used by the White House is a huge no-no, and one of the most sensitive issues that always results in a very heavy-handed response. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: As the war in the Persian Gulf rages on, concerns are growing regarding the apparent widening of the war to include the Red Sea region. The mutual targeting between the Saudis and the Houthis in Yemen has continued to some degree, though it's too soon to tell if either party is committed to turning this into a more protracted fight. If that is the chosen course of action, the situation is likely to get very serious. While the Strait of Hormuz remains a hot warzone that has restricted the flow of about 20 million barrels per day out of the region, the Saudi East-West Pipeline system has been working to reduce this deficit by pumping roughly 7 million barrels per day during most of this conflict. This has eased the burden of Hormuz being cut off, and has been one of the main factors keeping oil from reaching $200 per barrel. However, this pipeline runs from the Gulf, across the desert, before terminating in Yanbu at a major oil export terminal. This terminal....is within missile range of the Houthis. Somewhat interestingly, there are also very little air defenses in the southern regions of Saudi Arabia despite the Saudis fighting the Houthis for a couple of decades at this point; nearly all missile defenses are on the northern coastline or in the vicinity of American bases. So far during this conflict, the Iranians have successfully struck the Yanbu oil terminal using extremely long-range (and slow-flying) drones. The Houthis have a much higher chance of success in threatening Yanbu, and if they are able to strike this facility, the global oil crisis will go from worse to worst. By and large, the Israel Air Force (IAF) possesses the range and capabilities necessary to neutralize the IRGC-AF’s heavily fortified offensive missile infrastructure. This needn’t rely on GB 57 MOPs or similarly massive deep penetration munitions, but can primarily be achieved through precision strikes targeting tunnel entrances and launch openings, effectively rendering these sites temporarily unusable, provided pinpoint intelligence of the target sites is both accurate and sufficiently comprehensive. Logistically, sustaining 24-hour long-range sortie operations against IRGC-AF’s missile infrastructure depends on highly-coordinated logistics and a carefully executed refueling chain. Two Boeing 707 tankers in a single wave can supply over 180,000 kilograms of fuel (with 90,000 kilograms transferable fuel capacity each). An F-35 requires approximately 8,300 kilograms for a full tank. The combat radius of the IAF’s F-35I “Adir” which shares the performance characteristics of the F-35A Lightning II, is approximately 1,075 kilometers for an operational range exceeding 2,000 kilometers. The distance from the Negev, through the Golan, Syria, and southern Iraq is roughly half this distance (about 1,200-1,400 kilometers) depending on the operation’s design). So a single refuel at the push point near the border of western Iran furnishes the F-35I with a fresh combat radius of 1,075 kilometers enabling it to strike deep into Iranian territory. Each strike package, potentially comprising 10-12 F-35Is, equipped with internal dual-weapon bays with payload capacities of 1,850 kg (4,000 lbs), and can therefore engage 10-12 targets per wave, assuming both weapons are deployed per target and depending on the complexity of the strike sites and the tactical requirements of the mission. Advanced standoff weapons like the Popeye, Rampage, or Delilah, with ranges of 400-600 kilometers, permit the IAF to strike targets up to 1,300-1,500 kilometers inside Iran without overextending its aerial refueling chain. Although air defense systems such as the Russian-made S-300, the enhanced Chinese HQ-9, and potentially domestic systems like the Bavar-373 possess ranges of 200 kilometers or more, 300 kilometers or more safe-distance for critical high-value strategic assets like the IAF’s Desert Giants refueling platforms will affect the F-35I’s strike range, as always depending on operational design. The IAF possesses heavily modified F-15 Ra’am and F-16 Sufa for combat air patrol (CAP or “Yis’ar”) and suppression of air defense (SEAD or “Chihan”) missions to protect strategic assets like its refueling chain, and to disrupt and destroy air and ground defense systems. SEAD platforms and wild weasels may comprise 10-20 fighters of each sortie package depending on targeting and operational design. Israel’s approach would require a multi-layered defense penetration strategy leveraging both kinetic and non-kinetic SEAD tactics, such as electronic warfare and cyber operations, pivotal for disrupting IRGC-AF missile guidance systems and command and control networks before and during initial air strikes. Electronic attack platforms like the AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARM) that can jam or spoof Iranian radars and communication system can shape the theater, providing a safer corridor for kinetic strike packages. Advanced standoff weapons, such as the AGM-142 Have Nap “Popeye” enhanced with an imaging infrared seeker to enhance its accuracy against high-value targets, the Delilah cruise missile designed for suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) and precision strike missions, and the Rampage, a supersonic, long-range, air-to-ground assault missile suited to overcome air defense systems with its speed and low radar cross-section and designed to strike high-value, well-protected targets with precision—all of which can be launched from significant stand-off distances. The IAF also employs state-of-the-art intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and electronic warfare (EW) platforms like the Gulfstream 550 Shavit and Nachshon aircraft, as well as locally produced Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) ISR UAVs called the Eitans. These UAVs, which can operate continuously for 36 hours and are equipped with advanced signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems, provide critical real-time intelligence during operations. Each of these strategic assets require CAPs, so each sortie package may assign elements of 2 or more F-16s or F-15s for each aerial asset: EW, ISR, UAV and refueling aircraft, for a total of 10-20 fighter jets in air patrol missions depending on design. The CAPs elements’ size and weaponeering will depend on how heavily contested the airspace, that the IAF anticipates operating in, will be. Robust protection for these strategic assets is an integral component in the design and planning of such a mission, including the IAF’s logistics chain. Operationally, with a publicly disclosed total of 7 refueling 707s in the IAF’s Desert Giants Sqn 120, it can deploy 6 tanker packages of 2 707s in order to execute three waves of airstrikes four times per day, with an estimated average of six-hour intervals between each takeoff. Roughly speaking this breaks down to 90 minutes from base to near-border push point (ferry leg), 90 minutes of combat operations time including return to egress point (on-stage leg), 90 minutes RTB (return to base) including refueling assets en route, and 90 minutes refuel, maintain and rearm for the entire sortie package (reconstitution phase) at base. This equates to twelve strike packages delivered approximately every 2 hours around the clock for a virtually continuous presence at the push point, covering Imam Ali, Arak, Kermanshah, Isfahan and many other critical sites within Iranian territory. The F-15I Ra’am is highly modular in its fuel design possessing a combat radius of approximately 1,600 kilometers, and a much greater ferry range which can be extended through a menu of external and detachable fuel tanks, making it one of the most versatile long-range platforms in the IAF’s aviation fleet. Given its primary assignments in CAP and SEAD operations it can theoretically conduct the entire mission without any refueling or only partial refueling. Likewise the IAF’s heavily modified F-16I Sufa is equipped with conformal fuel tanks that can extend its range, increasing its fuel capacity compared to the baseline F-16 model by up to 7,700 kilos (17,000 lbs) of external fuel, contributing to an operational range of about 3,220 km (2,000 miles). Therefore, it too adds limited burden to the IAF’s refueling logistics. Assuming 7 minute refueling time for each IAF F-35I, two tankers can refuel 10-12 F-35I strike packages in 35-40 minutes en route to push point and again en route to base from rendezvous point post-on-stage. No additional time is required for these refueling operations as they may be seamlessly integrated into the ferry and RTB legs of the mission. Altogether, the IAF can hit somewhere in the ball park of 120-130 sites a day, severely damaging the IRGC-AF’s defensive and offensive capabilities within 72 hours. After three days, the IAF could theoretically strike about 450 sites. For heavily fortified targets with deep burial depths, requiring deeper penetration, the GB 31 (A2K) with BLU 137/B deep penetration warheads are suitable for the F-35Is and the GBU 72 (A5K) with BLU 138 deep penetration warheads can be deployed by the F-15I Ra’ams once sufficient SEAD ops are completed and closer to the borders of western Iran. Weaponeering, shuffling assets to suit allocation needs, and the overall designing of sortie package inventories, including formulating the necessary logistics, is an immensely complex challenge managed by highly trained personnel and assisted by advanced systems in what can only be likened to a dark opera of destructive power. Whatever the challenges, one thing remains certain. Israel always finds a way to defy gravity, alter realities on the ground (and in the air) and take the region by storm. As long as the IRGC-AF maintains its offensive missile capabilities it is liable to heavily target Israel’s airbases, critical military installations and civilian centers. Therefore, before Israel considers oil, nuclear, or any other strategic assets, it will need to knock the front teeth out this snake when it strikes. Israel might front-load its first strike to meet these objectives, coordinating all 3 waves in rapid succession shaped by Jericho II and III strikes tightly preceded by cyber, electronic warfare and internal sabotage operations. The IAF’s first strike will likely be designed to leave the IRGC-AF reeling and off-balance long enough for its fleet to reconstitute and launch the next set of waves. These are likely to then settle into a steady pace for at least 72 hours given the volume, geographic and strategic depth of their missile program. $ASTI Ascent Solar Technologies Space and Drone Solar Panels The "Going to Zero" or Mispriced Space/Drone Solar Play Intro and comparison to $RKLB and $RDW panels Let’s get the ugly stuff out of the way first. $ASTI is a distressed penny stock with a ~$5M-$10M market cap. • They burn millions in cash. • 2024 Revenue: ~$40k. 2025 Revenue (YTD): ~$60k. • They generate less revenue than a single Tesla Model Y. • They have diluted shareholders relentlessly. $ASTI just raised $2M in December with the potential of $3.5M more via warrants while being a ~$5M mcap "company". Yikes. To most, this is "uninvestable trash." Stay away. Full stop. So why did I buy ~5% of the float? IF the technology works and IF they execute then I believe this is a massive market pricing dislocation about to inflect. They have been grinding for years and may finally be hitting an inflection point. $RKLB Rocketlab is the king of space solar and they are my second largest position overall, but here is why $ASTI might be a very high risk but asymmetric bet in Space & Defense right now. 1. The Tech Pivot: Flexible CIGS vs. The World Ascent started in 2005 but pivoted 2 years ago from consumer to pure-play Space & Defense. They have sunk ~$250M and 20 years of R&D into proprietary CIGS (Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenide) thin-film technology while building out fully domestic and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities. The Physics: • Thickness: 0.03 mm (Thinner than paper). • Flexibility: Wraps around drones/satellites; rolls up like a poster. • Durability: "Self-Healing" capabilities against space radiation. Can take a bullet or micrometeoroid and keep working. Can handle shocks/vibration. Does not shatter. The Metric that Matters: Specific Power (W/kg) (aka energy to weight ratio) In space, mass means cost and difficult decision decisions. • Rocket Lab ($RKLB) / Spectrolab: ~150 W/kg (System level). • Ascent Solar ($ASTI): ~1,960 W/kg (Module level). $ASTI is roughly 10x lighter for the same power output potential (mass-wise). This frees up design limitations and cost. 2. The Competition: $RKLB & $RDW Rocket Lab (SolAero) & Redwire (iROSA): • Tech: Rigid Crystal Cells (Multi-junction) embedded in a fabric mesh. • Pros: Extreme Efficiency (~30%+). Perfect for limited surface area. • Cons: Heavy, Brittle, Expensive ($3k-$10k per Watt). Manufacturing multi-junction cells (SolAero) involves slowly growing crystals in a vacuum chamber. With radiation the panels degrade and loose efficiency over time which will limit the satellite lifespan. • Use Case: James Webb Telescope, Flagship missions. Ascent Solar (ASTI): • Tech: Flexible Thin-Film on Plastic. • Pros: Ultra-light, Durable, Cheap ($500-$1k per Watt). Manufacturing CIGS is roughly similar to printing newspapers (roll-to-roll). The panels are radiation degradation resistant and will outlive the satellite • Cons: Lower Efficiency (~17.5%). Requires 2x surface area. • Use Case: Mega-Constellations (Starlink/Amazon Leo), Small/Low cost satellites, Drones, Deformable surfaces. The lower efficiency is not an ASTI failing. It is the inherent physics trade-off of not using glass/rigid silicone. The downside however is increased atmospheric drag with very larger/massive panel sheets. Because ASTI modules are ~50% less efficient than rigid panels, they require ~2x the physical surface area to generate the same amount of power. In GEO (High Orbit): Drag doesn't matter. Weight savings are king. A massive solar array allows for more sensors and longer project lifespan. ASTI is highly competitive here. In LEO (Low Orbit): Atmospheric drag is real. A massive solar array acts like a large parachute, causing the satellite to de-orbit faster unless it burns more fuel to stay up. At LEO, smaller satellites are a better fit for ASTI. 3. Durability & Radiation "Self-Healing" Radiation Hardness This is ASTI's "Ace in the Hole" for physics. The Problem: In space, high-energy protons (radiation) smash into solar cells, creating atomic "defects" that trap electrons. Over time, this kills the panel's power output (degradation). The CIGS Advantage: CIGS (Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenide) material has a unique property where heat (annealing) allows the atomic structure to relax and "heal" these defects. Self-Healing: Because CIGS heals at relatively low temperatures (often achieved just by the sun heating the panel), it suffers significantly less degradation than traditional Silicon or even some GaAs panels over long missions in high-radiation belts (like MEO or GEO). Lifespan: While a rigid GaAs panel might lose 15-20% of its power over 15 years (enough to kill a satellite), CIGS panels heal and can maintain a flatter power curve, potentially outlasting the satellite itself in high-radiation orbits. 4. Brittleness & Flexibility ASTI (CIGS on Polyimide): Flexible. You can roll it like a poster. It can take a bullet or micrometeoroid and the hole will just be a dead spot; the rest of the panel keeps working. It does not shatter. Redwire (ROSA) & Rocket Lab (SolAero): Brittle Cells on a Flex Blanket. $RDW's ROSA (Roll-Out Solar Array) typically uses rigid multi-junction cells (made by SolAero/Rocket Lab or Spectrolab) mounted on a flexible mesh fabric. The Risk: If you bend the cells too far, they crack. They rely on the mesh backing for flexibility, but the active generating material is still a brittle crystal wafer. Much heavier, more expensive, and less durable than $ASTI's option 5. The Inflection Point (Why Now?) After years of silent struggle, late 2025 has seen an explosion of activity. Recent Agreements (Nov/Dec 2025): NovaSpark: Hydrogen-powered military drones. $ASTI panels generate power in the field → NovaSpark creates hydrogen fuel. CisLunar Industries: Integrating ASTI solar with power conversion hardware for deep space longevity. Defiant Space: A strategic alliance to act as the "door opener" for classified DoD/NATO programs. Management: New board members include a former founding member of SpaceX and a retired Air Force General and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Contracting (acquisitions expert). The company started in 2005 based out of Colorado, but two years ago pivoted to Space & Defense and away from consumer applications. Made in USA: Defense contracts heavily favor domestic supply chains. ASTI manufactures in Colorado. This is a huge moat against cheap Chinese solar. In their Q3 report they note that their market has seen sudden recent acceleration. The space solar industry is currently only capable of 8 to 12 MW per year of production meanwhile the demand is growing to over 100 MW per year. 6. The Risk (The Sword of Damocles) ⚠️ This is critical. $ASTI just raised ~$2M in December. Attached to that raise are ~2 Million Warrants with a strike price of $1.70. These are exercisable immediately. If the stock rips to $3.00, warrant holders exercise at $1.70 and dump on the market for a risk-free 76% profit. This creates a massive "sell wall" and potential 40% dilution of the float. Summary: This is a binary bet. • Bear Case: They run out of cash in 6 months, dilution spirals, stock goes to $0. • Bull Case: They land one of the "Company A/B/C" contracts. Revenue jumps from $60k to projected $20M+ in 2026. The stock reprices from a "bankrupt penny stock" to a "critical defense/space supplier." I have gradually accumulated ~5% of the float.
