I'm curious. How long did it take you to make this face rig? This doesn't look like the kind of thing you get with rigify

Yes, it's not Rigify. It's hard to say because I was testing things. I spent more time looking for references than making some parts of the rig

This is the in game model right? Doesn't it have tris? How did you rig the face with tris and didn't had any problems?

I converted the face to quads with proper edge flow and topology. So you can used subd and other modifiers but in this video, the subd is off

what it rigged all in blender or did you use any external apps/add-ons?

Just blender with no addons for rigging. I use bone manager addon to organize the UI after the rig is done and Bone Widget addon for the control wgts. Both free
