'Ride centrally in primary position to prevent close passes'. Here I am doing just that at approx 25mph in the 30mph zone. Plenty of room in the opposite lane which the van driver doesn't use. Fit a Fiat 500 (1.6m) in the space left? WYP give this NFA. Why?

A very narrow #Silsden lane with parked cars reducing the already limited space. You'd never attempt to overtake a car here - so why a cyclist? This impatient Toyota RAV4 driver can't wait a couple of seconds and passes too close. Reported to WYP who took action against them.

This white van driver sees the driver in front pull out to pass the cyclist 'as you would a car' leaving at least 1.5m of space (more if over 30mph) but doesn't follow their example. They were reported to the police who offered them an education course to improve their driving

Speed matters. A Waymo vehicle was driving in a 25mph zone in LA when an oncoming car swerved into our lane while speeding up to over 70mph… 3x the speed means 9x the destructive energy. Good to see the Waymo Driver react early and safely to make room.

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

Just had one of the worst drives I've ever had in 5 years with FSD in the rain ... for some reason even though it limits you to Standard it would not stop getting into the left lane (and was capped at speed limit). And the left lane was flooded in spots... Tesla AI - the left lane obsession needs to end. At this point it's bizarre. Especially in these conditions. I manually had to move the car back to the right 10 times in 5 minutes. And overall ... I'm not going to lie I could not see anything. My heart rate was probably at 150 bpm. So I want to be an FSD but I don't want to be 3 ft from a barrier hydroplaning.. When the speed is limited in these conditions and it won't go the speed limit anyway - FSD NEEDS to stay out of the left lane!!!
