I’m in Brazil for the first time in 10 years, since the Rio Olympics. And tomorrow morning I won’t be contesting for the podium. The hamstring tear I suffered in Tokyo 7 months ago is still healing and I am a long way from where I was then. But I’m excited for this test, to see where my body is at. And I am grateful that World Athletics included me in their pre-race press conference knowing that and asking me instead about what Brazil gave to me 10 years ago. It’s remarkable to think how much I’ve grown and changed in the last decade, and the role my first Olympics played in that. Tomorrow morning (7am Vancouver time on CBC Gem) I’ll hit the streets of Brasilia, and I will give it everything I have. And maybe tomorrow that will be 40th place. But my words from the evening of that fateful 50km 10 years ago will ring soundly in my ear, ‘I left everything I possibly had out there and I can’t ask for anything more than that.’

I’m really proud of my KHI_Racing guys! We had some mechanical issues leading up to the race, but they never gave up, and we were able to get my first Late Model Stock win at the Icebreaker! I qualified third and settled into second after the green. I knew I had to manage my tires, stay close to the leader and maintain track position. I was able to grab the lead on a restart, but I had to keep a close eye on my minor because there were some experienced veterans behind me. Thankfully I saved enough tires and was able to get the win! I want to give a big shoutout to Matt Cox for letting us borrow a transmission before the race. That was pretty cool, and I really appreciate him helping us out! #62 #keeplearnin #keepdiggin

Last night I got a phone call from one of my renters complaining they don't have any power outlets in the backyard. I was able to get my top electrician Tio Vik on site first thing this morning and run new outlets in the backyard. Of course with less than 24-hour notice he charged golden hour prices and invoiced $2,300. Since backyard electricity was not part of the rental agreement I emailed and invoice to the renter for $4,600. Everyone goes home happy tonight!

It will be a month tomorrow that I was repeatedly punched in the head and then tackled and punched again while on the phone begging 911 to send the police to me. Have not been on the ground since. Physically, I’m fine except for my lower back. Still waiting on arrests. The situation there is deteriorating in ways that may be difficult to understand if you haven’t been following our coverage ( I say our because of other reporters down there). They poured gasoline on someone. What will it take for the city to police this area??

As I post this video, I’m unsure how it will be received but I need to say it. I’m not British. I’m not Welsh. I’m an immigrant. That’s not a label I run from it’s the truth. I’ve lived in Wales since 2019, and while I may not have been born here, I’ve grown to love this land and its people deeply. The kindness, the beauty, the spirit, it’s something I carry with pride. I call Swansea my home. I’ve had incredible memories and faced painful moments losing my job, being wrongly arrested, and labelled racist simply for defending myself when the police failed to protect me. Yet through it all, my respect and gratitude for this country have only grown stronger. And that’s why on September 13, I’ll be standing proudly at Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 ’s rally in London. Not to pretend to be something I’m not but to show my appreciation. And yes, I’ll be wearing a Welsh kilt, not as a gimmick, but as a thank you to Wales and to everyone who’s shown me kindness. I don’t know what the Home Office will decide about my future. But if I’m not deported, you’ll find me there. Front and centre grateful, unashamed, and standing tall. Diolch. Thank you.

$This week marked 12 years since I teamed up with Barbie Blank to defeat THE GLAMAZON and Eve Torres Gracie at #Wrestlemania 28 🔥 One of my favorite moments of my entire career. I had 2 cracked ribs and 7 stress fractures on my feet but was still able to push through to the end. The adrenaline was CRAZY. WWE always had a special place in my heart. Being able to wrestle at Wrestlemania was an opportunity of a lifetime. This is my first mania I’m missing in a long time but I will be watching with Athena for sure! ❤️$
