Rigathi Gachagua’s bitterness stems from a series of events. After the death of Muchiru, he called her family and inquired about their burial budget. They told him not to come to the funeral. The chair of Mathira Women owned a bar, which Gachagua shut down, driving her into depression, which eventually led to her death. He also promised Muchiru’s son a job when he was Deputy President, but never delivered on that promise. However, when the Mathira women visited the President at Sagana State Lodge last week, the President gave Muchiru’s son a job on that very day. Today, instead of allowing the family of Muchiru to bury their beloved mother in peace, he sent goons to attack the Mathira MP, turning a solemn occasion into chaos. It should not be forgotten that during his time as the District Officer in Molo, Gachagua was responsible for the massacre of Kikuyus, resulting in the loss of property and the displacement of many due to his selfishness.

The value proposition for Gachagua for me, from an ODM perspective, is that he is taking away votes that helped beat us in 2022. For as long as he is taking away votes from Ruto, I don’t care where he takes them; he is not giving William Ruto. If Raila Odinga were to get the exact same number of votes that he got in 2022 in 2027 and William Ruto loses Mt Kenya, Raila will be President. I have repeatedly watched and listened to Junet Mohamed's speech and these are my take away. 1. If you look keenly just close to Junet, there are government officials. Joho, Wandayi and Salim Mvurya. They are all laughing heartily to Junet's choice of words. You can see Joho stealing a glance at Ruto to see if he is entertained by Junet. My point is that ODM is trying to show how useful they are to Ruto, they are doing what they were brought to do in government, that is why Joho is continuously looking at Ruto while Junet is speaking. He is trying to see if the President seeing the value in the ODM brigade. 2. It is no coincidence that ODM leaders are the only ones talking about the ouster of Rigathi Gachagua. Raila did it the other day and Junet has also made fun of it. ODM wants to trigger Gachagua, they want him to speak. Gachagua in his interview steered clear of responding to Raila which was very wise. Junet again is poking him. Why? If Gachagua speaks it will turn TRIBAL and that is what Ruto wants. An election forged on tribal issues. If Gachagua is smart enough he should not respond because Junet will sink him with war of words.

So that we are clear... Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua is the worst thing that ever happened to Kenyan politics. I have actually done a mental calculation of all top politicians since independence, but can't find one who is as vile, petty, vindictive, and plain ignorant, as that Mathira monster. Gachagua is a tribal lord who sees everything from one tiny window. So that I am not beating around any bush, between Gachagua and Ruto, Gachagua is so much worse that it is impossible to use the same parameters to compare. People don't notice that of all top politicians past and present, only Gachagua consistently talks about his community or tribes. He can't help it. He is as divisive as he is foolish. And the more he goes near a microphone, the more you realise that Ruto is still better. In fact, for many parts of Kenya where Kikuyu entitlement has been the vessel of entitlement, every Gachagua appearance on TV is a pro-Ruto campaign rally. We can resurrect Kihika Kimani and Paul Chepkok, place them next to Gachagua and the latter will still be worse. There is nothing that Mathira clown can say or do to make him a panacea to any perceived Ruto ills. In fact, to have a serious national conversation about change, we must first remove Rigathi from it!

LAST night, I listened to the speech by Hassan Omar, the one made in front of President William Samoei Ruto. I listened from the point he took the mic to the point he handed it back to Ali Joho. I decided not to just HEAR him speaking but to LISTEN to him. Hearing and listening are two different things. He spoke for exactly 5min 15sec. I listened twice, meaning I was on it for over 12 minutes. I wanted to PERSONALLY draw my own anger from the speech, different from collective anger. So I wanted to KEENLY and PERSONALLY pick out the words that directly or indirectly referred or made reference to me (WT) as a Kikuyu from Nyeri County, a Kikuyu who has never been in government leadership and a Kikuyu who has no land anywhere in or near Coast region. I wanted to use my own judgement. I wanted to personalise the speech. I wanted to get the feeling that the man was in one way or another, speaking about me or anyone who has the three attributes above. For a start, there was NO mention of the word KIKUYUS, whether positively or negatively, for the 5min 15sec. That's a FACT. There was no mention of UHURU or KENYATTA by name. That's a fact. There was mention of the former president na watu wake. Probably the "watu wake" referred to me. There was twice the mention of Vikaragozi (puppets) of the former president. Again, probably that's where I come in as one of the puppets. Finally, there was a lot of mention of those who stole coastal land. I don't think that was for me. Children of single and entitled Okuyus want UDA SG fired because of what exactly... Saying the truth that Johnstone Kamau is a thief and Kenyatta family.... Wicked people should not extend their ignorance. They should focus on their own mad man, Methu. Rigathi Gachagua once told Mama Ngina Kenyatta to return land they stole from MAU MAU.
