"So if we just had another story in Money and Markets about a rice farmer in Asia, who didn't plant because it was going to cost $33,000 to plant her small rice farm and she was going to make $22,000, you know, because your, your costs go up, but that doesn't mean your revenues go up too, right? Now, if you look at what happened yesterday, I haven't read the language, but Congress, the House, voted that the president couldn't continue the Iran war without a war resolution. Answer is simple: he affords this war because there's one huge loophole. Putin is able to sell his crude oil all over the world. He gets hundreds of billions of dollars from the sale of that crude oil, and then funds his military and his war. The idea of this Russia sanctions bill is to say, "Okay, let's go to the people who buy this oil, and say we're going to penalize you big time if you buy the oil. You can buy oil from anyone else, just don't buy it from Russians." That's what this bill is all about. It closes the last remaining loophole, and really puts Putin's economy in a bind if it gets passed.

Wait... did Trump really say there are only 4 weeks of oil reserves left if he didn't 'open the Strait of #Hormuz'? Apparently so. It actually sounds about right and what I've been saying all along. Except...there's still nothing coming in, and this so-called 'peace' MOU won't really kick in for about 30 days. And then it takes a month or two at least for those tankers to start moving and go and distribute the oil. So... when you do the math, the world has only about four weeks of reserves left. And, once that's gone, they're going to be basically just having to run off of whatever comes in. And there's still nothing coming in from the #MiddleEast. So everything I said back in February and March about a possible Mad Max scenario is still completely and totally on the table. But they've done an incredible job of using the reserves and mind control to get people to think that everything's okay.
