Gutted to hear this news. Starsky and Hutch were the heroes for all 70’s kids Best tv programme of the 70’s along with The Professionals.💔

In my home town in the 1980s someone had a Mark 1 Ford Cortina painted like that. At the time it was like seeing a rock star when we saw it in town.

@studiotstella My favourite intro music. This version was only used for season 2. Season 1’s was pretty good too.

Loved this series as a kid, had the toy car. Great intro but nowadays makes me cringe when he jumps on car roof as he badly damaged his back doing the stunt.

Empty cardboard boxes in side streets will now be safe

Salem's Lot

He really regretted jumping on top of the car #RIP

Broke his tailbone landing on the car didn't he?

😥

I often wondered why the baddies followed them into that car park to be arrested.

Oh dear 😳 😕

Brilliant

He was a good all rounder!

you ll be missed 🙏

RIP David 😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏

Indeed. Very sad news 😥

Fantastic to see, it takes me back to my school days 👍👍👍

🙏

So good, even Morcambe and Wise spoofed it.

Over him singing Silver Lady and loved the TV series as well R.I.P love man.

Did he break his back on that fall onto the car?

Que gran hombre y su clásico compañero y ese Coche tan peculiar

Gutted 💔💋

I had a Starsky and Hutch toy car. Compulsive viewing as a Kid.

Let's get some starsky and hutch on TV ..

RIP David.

So did Starsky always drive or did Hutch get behind the wheel ?
