It is a deliberate attempt to change the demographics, with illegal Hawkers & Food stalls being pushed from Dharavi / Char Rasta & Naigaon into areas where commercial institutes are operating & where ample footpath space is available. A lot of blame lies on @mybmcWardFN 1/2

Residents of Hiranandani Gardens are fed up with the frequent blocking of their roads. The roads of Hiranandani Gardens have now become an event venue for the entire suburb. Although there are 3-4 grounds available for conducting events, beer, wine, and alcohol festivals are still conducted on the roads. Residents say due to such events other roads of the vicinity are full of visitor parking. Hiranandani Gardens, once known for class and a peaceful neighbourhood, is now a chaotic place and causing suffocation for the residents. We have sanctuary city policies, which used to be defended by Democrats and Republicans alike. These are policies that do not allow ice admission into schools, into hospitals, into any city property or properties of city contractors unless they can show a judicial warrant signed by a judge. And what we know is, time and time again, the videos we're watching, they're not videos of warrants being shown. They are videos of brutal intimidation. And it is time to have a mayor of the city who recognizes this risk is a present day one, and will stand up for each and every one of the 3 million immigrants who call the city home. I'm one of them, and an understanding that an attack on any New Yorker is an attack on the entirety of the city.

What is the Encroachment Department of T-Ward doing? Why is there no permanent solution? Why are FIRs not being filed against these illegal hawkers? We request T-Ward Officer Yogita Madam to take strict action and implement a permanent solution at the earliest. We also want to highlight a serious issue — the safety of whistleblowers like Nirmal Thakkar and others. These people are targeted and threatened simply for raising their voice against illegal encroachments. The police must provide protection to such citizens who work for the betterment of society.

BEWARE OF MUMBAI TRAFFIC POLICE NEGLIGENCE! Thanks to my dashcam, otherwise this totally incompetent Mumbai Traffic Police lady constable (who was very rude btw) would have extorted money from me for no fault of mine! As you can see in the video, I cross the stop line VERY comfortably when the light is green. When I am half way across the wide highway on which this light is situated is when the light turns orange. And then red at the point where there is a bottleneck created by these very traffic police operating under the flyover. The lady traffic constable in concern isn't even looking at my car or the light the whole time. She was busy looking somewhere else and just turns and looks at my car when I have already crossed the entire road, and she gestures me to stop, pointing at the light, indicating that I jumped it! After this, what is not recorded, because I stopped the recording to show it to her is even more shocking. She came up to me and said I jumped the light. I said no it turned red well after I crossed it, to which she rudely said "kaahi hi bolu naka" which means "dont talk rubbish"! Wow! After that I showed her the video, but SHE STILL INSISTED THAT I WAS WRONG AND I SHOULD PAY THE FINE. SERIOUSLY! NO KIDDING! This is her judgement making ability and she is in law and order? Her last plea to me was that why dont I pay, the fine is just Rs. 500! “Aaya hai to kuch deke hi jaana” attitude?? What sort of personnel do you have on board, Mumbai Traffic Police Commissioner of Police, Greater Mumbai महाराष्ट्र पोलीस - Maharashtra Police Dr Ravinder Singal IPS pravin padwal ? The mindless, unplanned, chaotic road digging in Mumbai has upended the life of lakhs of residents. The city now resembles an archaeological dig rather than a well planned metropolis. Only 266 road concretisation projects have been completed whereas 930 roads are dug up across the city. This has made daily commute miserable for Mumbaikars. Today, as part of our #NoCorruptionMeriGullyMein citizens' campaign, I visited Road No. 19 and 20 in Khar- a textbook example of the shoddy, unplanned work plaguing Mumbai. Shockingly, the work order for these roads was issued in January 2023, yet work only began in October 2024. Since then, progress has crawled at a snail’s pace. The deadline of May 2025 looms ahead and we will now see hurried, shoddy execution of work. Here is what we observed while walking through all the rubble lying around : 🚧 Roads have been dug up so recklessly that there is no space to walk. Many senior citizens reside here, and schools are nearby, yet no proper provisions have been made for pedestrians. 🚧 Work has been dragging on intermittently for months, with residents frequently facing water and electricity disruptions. 🚧 Some stretches have been half-completed, while the other half remains in a dangerously dug-up state, leaving no room to walk. 🚧 In some parts, one has to get inside the compounds of housing societies to be able to walk ahead, affecting privacy and safety of residents. 🚧 No responsible person was present at the site.The माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC had promised that engineers will be available on road concretisation sites but we didn't find anyone. I think what these Epstein files elucidate is that there is a depraved, corrupt ruling global elite that has created a club that has locked the rest of us out. One of the fascinations for me in reading the emails is how tawdry—and I use the word correctly—depraved these people are, because we don’t get a look into their private lives. They have lawyers and publicists and all sorts of ways to create a public face that is at complete variance with their own moral decay, and that’s what these emails expose. Not just, of course, the American political elite, but the British political elite, the Norwegian royal family, the British royal family, out of the Middle East—wherever it is. This is the billionaire class, or the servants of the billionaire class, who, unfortunately, are running the world. As large segments of the population are waking up as to who these people are, they are rapidly imposing authoritarian states. In the UK, you have, through Palestine Action, people thrown in prison for nonviolent civil disobedience. Of course, they went on hunger strike, and they’ve violated all sorts of UK laws to hold them there on remand without bringing them to trial. This is also true in the United States. So that’s what we’re seeing. As these elites are being exposed globally, they are reaching for the lever of police tyranny—police terror, even in the United States—to retain control. And I think that’s what this moment, this particular historical moment, furthered by the Epstein files, elucidates.

Today is my 37th birthday. Yesterday I went to the US senate and spoke my truth - as a physician, as a woman, and a living being striving to act on the signals I am perceiving and the intuition I feel. If there is one thing I feel at this moment in my life at 37, it is that cultivating healthy bodies is of real importance as it is one of the ways that we honor this mysterious MIRACLE of life and nurture the material receiver through which we might be able to connect with spirit, with God. Our unhealthy bodies are a distraction and impediment to the bliss that we can experience right now in the simple recognition of our oneness with all things. Right now, many levers of society in our material world make being healthy extremely challenging for so many. There is mass suffering that needn’t be, because we are - I believe - distraction, confused, and lost, In the swirl of the cosmos, there is something happening in our little corner that feels like it glitching. Life is on assault. Our Earth, the Mother through which God allowed us to come into human form by assembling atoms from her into us, is being destroyed at our own hands, and so of course, so are we. We have broken the cycles of life, and so we are, or course, breaking. I don’t believe the answers to this are going to be strictly technological, because technology often seems to have the intent of outsmarting nature, with I don’t think is possible. I believe they need to be based in humility, care, and respect for our Mother. 🌎 We, together, can right all of this. I think we can do it rapidly. I think we NEED to do it rapidly. We can protect our earth, protect each other, and get back on track to pursue our highest calling in this precious moment in this lifetime. This is what I came to say to the US government yesterday.
