My new AI UGC factory setup generates content for my brand 24/7 Claude writes the scripts, Arcads turns them into viral UGC videos. LinkedIn wrapped is here! And it's made with Rive Stoked to be invited by BUCK to join the project. I wasn’t actually animating the thing though I had more of a technical assignment and we had quite a few things to solve. There is 9 chapters total (but not everyone sees all the chapters or even all the slides in given chapter) in 3 languages, the data being sent to Rive is raw so we had to cover for many variables: - A progress bar aware what chapters are included for given user - A progress bar checking what slides are included for and logging their duration time to progress bar - A custom slider solution (the default Rive slider is not enough if you turn contents on and off) - A State Machine logic aware of chapters or slides skipped from playback - A custom slider behavior for when there is auto-slide (instant) and tap-slide (slide animation) - A custom text-length tracker for to dynamically change font-size for long strings - A custom screen ratio tracker to scale down the UI for small screens - Handling dynamically handle big numbers (10,000 becomes 10k etc.) - Handling translations (3 languages) - Super complex behaviour for when if some data-point is missing we don’t leave a blank space, but it is being replaced with other data point instead (so some user se A-B-C, but some will see only B-C as if A never existed without leaving blank space) - Rage click prevention Amazing experience, thanks for having me. Bone Tide is officially out on the App Store and Google Play 🎉 The React Native Expo version runs on the exact same TypeGPU engine as the Web game, shared 1:1 between both platforms. Only the UI was ported to React This was made possible by some amazing work across the React Native open source ecosystem. 004/100 Buttons. A bit of the process on building an animation. When looking at a finished animation or in this example a finished button, it can look quite complex inside the CSS. But when building it, it’s more like a lot of simple steps, one after another. Here I had the idea to make some kind of text animation like the footer logo on the Osmo site. I try to add the base animation with no complex easing, for example transition: translate 0.4s ease. Starting with just moving the one text from bottom to top and the other text to top. Adding a stagger, play around with it. Searching for a way to make it more circular. On the research I found the sin() function inside CSS which can build a more smooth non linear curve for the stagger which creates this circular effect. And step by step adding more complexity like, different easing for hover/hover-out, opacity, 3D transform and more. I use also the sin() function to rotate the letters, so the middle ones are getting more rotated than the outer ones. Another thing which helps is to add a small delay on hover, for example 0.05s or 0.1s, you don’t really see the difference, but when you hover pretty fast on and out it doesn’t get that jumpy. I’m using here GSAP’s SplitText to split every char into spans. And then I’m adding a CSS index variable to every span, starting from the center. SplitText can provide CSS index variables, but you cannot tell it from which direction. For the sin() it’s also important to have a max length, so I add another CSS variable with the max char number on it. Crafting 100 Buttons with Osmo ⏳ Total time: 63h

(TW). Tomorrow (September 10th) is World Suicide Prevention Day. On the 16th, it will be 7 years since I was admitted to hospital for the first time. I was 16, had just started sixth form, and the years of anxiety and OCD became too much. I didn’t think I had a future. I was wrong. This monkey is in an NIH laboratory run by experimenter Elisabeth Murray. Murray subjects sensitive, vulnerable monkeys to procedures in which she saws open her victims’ skulls and injects toxins to burn brain cells, or suctions out parts of their brain to induce permanent damage. After sewing them back up, she places them in a small cage and deliberately provokes them with their worst fears, spiders and snakes, just to see how they’ll react. Although artificial, some of these realistic-looking spiders and snakes can move or even jump. She keeps monkeys hungry and thirsty to force them to cooperate, restrains them for extended periods of time, and implants head posts directly into their skulls. $I built a content engine that runs on telegram. Two commands... /discover: sends out to 9 sources across HackerNews, Reddit communities covering AI automation, prompt engineering, vibe coding, and specialist newsletters. Pulls everything published in the last 24 hours, runs each item through an AI extraction layer that scores it against 100+ niche keywords, deduplicates, and drops the relevant ideas into a Notion database. Takes about 90 seconds. Costs fractions of a cent. /ideas: this command pulls the top scored ideas from that database, randomizes the selection so you're not seeing the same ones every time, and sends them to you in a clean numbered list. You reply with /write 3 or whatever you choose, and the system researches the topic using Perplexity's live web search, generates three distinct outline options with different angles and hooks, saves them to a Google Doc, and sends you a message telling you they're ready. You read the outlines, and you pick one. You then reply with the command /outline 2. The system writes the full piece in your voice, following your brand guidelines, with specific examples and concrete claims. It can be done in under two minutes of your time. The $1,800 robot doll by Hyodal can hold full conversations to tackle loneliness and remind users to take medication. Dystopian, yes, but the data is fascinating: 1. Studies (with over 9,000 users) found that depression levels reduced from 5.73 to 3.14, and medicine intake improved from 2.69 to 2.87. 2. The doll comes with a companion app and web monitoring platform for caretakers to monitor remotely. 3. Safety features are installed to alert when no movement has been detected for a certain period, essentially always watching the user. 4. The doll also offers touch interaction, 24-hour voice reminders, check-ins, voice messages, a health coach, quizzes, exercise, music, and more. 5. Caregivers have access to the app, allowing them to send/receive voice messages, make group announcements, and monitor motion detection. I'd definitely have some privacy and data collection concerns here before handing this off to my family, but the product actually seems really cool. Will be interesting to watch the data to see if this idea has legs. Keep in mind, SK has a rapidly aging population and one of the world's lowest birth rates, so it makes sense for the local governments to be early adopters here.
