Can Tesla Self-Driving pay for its own $99 subscription? The goal is simple - make $99 with Uber Deliveries using only Tesla FSD. The idea that a car can drive itself and 'make money' seems a bit far fetched, but we are basically there now with FSD. This video is a different style from my usual FSD videos, I try to edit it to be a bit more engaging to watch and fast paced. I hope you all enjoy it - it takes a ton of work to edit this and also just to go out and shoot them. Let me know if you use FSD to do Uber Delivery or Driver, curious to hear how it is for everyone else. 🤖FSD V14.2 First Impressions Drive 🚗 Although the release notes made this update seem small - it feels to me like this is the refinement we have been waiting for in V14. All of my driving today was very smooth with no brake issues - I drove through HEAVY construction, parking lots, highways, etc and had no issues at all related to braking. We did run into a problem where the car got stuck trying to leave the parking lot - this is a problem that a larger context window would likely fix. $RIVN $TSLA Now I know why Tesla influencers are mad. Rivian just put a fork in the road for FSD monopoly. First initial reaction after 30 minutes of testing Rivian Universal Hands Free. In the video below, the car is doing all the work on back roads. FYI, Universal Hands Free is not equivalent to FSD yet, but point to point coming out in 2026 should put Rivian right up there. Here is the fork in the road: 1. Claim: Everyone will license FSD from Tesla. Reality: Rivian will release point to point next year. 2. Claim: Everyone is 10 years behind Tesla in autonomous driving. Reality: Rivian is only about 1.5 years behind. 3. Claim: LiDAR is too expensive. Reality: It costs around $200. 4. Claim: Multiple sensors cause confusion and delayed decision making. Reality: With early sensor fusion, there is no confusion or added complexity. 5. Claim: Tesla is the only software defined company. Reality: Rivian licenses its software to VW for $5 billion beating Tesla to it.

Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

Teresa Torres shares how she shipped an AI interview coach, and used evals to rapidly squash bugs and improve the product. FSD V14.2.1 My Thoughts After spending a week with 14.2 I just have to give a huge shout out to Tesla AI for the incredible job they're doing. I've driven ~600km and I have not had a single safety related disengagement. The car feels more alive than ever, and each new update brings new features as well as a refined brain - I love it. This is the first version of FSD that my wife (Jae) uses almost by default now - she only really manually drives when FSD makes mistakes related to nav issues, otherwise I haven't heard any complaints from her on the driving style. Can't wait to see what 14.3 brings
