Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

🚨Taxi Drivers In South Africa Aren't Just Breaking The Rules, They're Openly Declaring War On Every Decent Road User With Their Own Suicidal Playbook Of Chaos And Death ‼️ ▪︎Charging head-on into oncoming traffic like it's their personal overtaking lane ▪︎Overtaking on the solid yellow line at 120km/h, hooting like maniacs and forcing everyone else to swerve out of the way ▪︎Inventing a fourth lane, slamming on brakes and ▪︎Stopping dead wherever they feel like, highways, intersections, anywhere ▪︎Half these taxis are rolling death traps, bald tyres slick as ice, brakes that don't exist, black smoke choking the air and doors literally hanging by a thread, yet they're crammed with passengers, hurtling down the highway‼️ The Traffic Department does nothing to stop these taxis and even when they do pull them over, corruption in South Africa is so rampant that a few hundred rands in bribes is usually enough to get them back on the road immediately‼️ We as law-abiding drivers are playing Russian roulette every single day, dodging these lunatics while praying they don't get shot for daring to hoot back or flash their lights‼️ You keep quiet, you look away, because one wrong move and your life might be over. This is terrorism on wheels. People are dying daily anf the entire taxi industry operates like it's above the law, with full diplomatic immunity on our roads‼️ Since 1994 there was an explosive growth in taxis on our roads. From the 2000's until now, the fleet has grown to an estimated 200 000–250 000+ vehicles nationwide, numbers may vary because many operate informally‼️

Pune Metro has been the cause for the maximum disruption of traffic and causing traffic chaos across Pune for the past decade. Besides this is a government run by thugs and thieves along with corporate executives who have pouring concrete over the entire city as their only objective. Among other things. We are trying to knock some sense into the @punemetro3 , roads and projects department to be more environmentally conscious. It’s mostly a losing battle. Unfortunately large corporate interests such as Tata Group Larsen & Toubro KPMG India are all complicit in the denuding of the cities green cover. It’s astonishing that they as of yet don’t have the capacities in-house to simply help move ancient trees 🌳 in situ at the same location or another as the case may be - so that Pune doesn’t have to sacrifice its ancient trees. Their engineering under the mandate of the chump in chief Devendra Fadnavis and his sidekick Ajit Pawar is about laying to waste a living breathing city. Never about conservation. When they’re not defending criminals like Karads or Mundes this is what they do…. Turn Mumbai and Pune into a dust bowl desert. Some notes emergent out of yesterday’s meetings with the metro officials. 1. The metro work has been the cause of the maximum tree felling in the area through Mann Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar. It also is the cause of the maximum traffic jams across the city in the past decade. 2. There isn’t a single example of the Pune IT City Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. having replanted or transplanted a single tree 🌳 fully in all its glory along this route. Not one success story. 3. What has happened instead is that trees in their hundreds and at times without permission have been butchered by the Metro authorities under the offices of Bhanudas Mane. Sakalnagar has lost 40 trees. Ganeshkhind Road over a few hundred trees. Karve road countless old growth trees. Wherever the metro goes, it creates traffic jams and destroys the road side green cover. 4. These criminals led by the offices of the Municipal Commisioner and supported by the house of Tata’s @RNTata2000 are responsible for the destruction of the green cover of Ganeshkhind Road. Aundh Baner Balewadi Road until Hinjewadi. 5. Some sad transplantation techniques have been applied along with making rudimentary compensatory plantation attempts to come up with numbers to justify further tree felling along Ganeshkhind Road. The biomass lost hasn’t been replaced by the biomass newly planted (never was meant to be). What was meant to be was to screw Pune’s population out of its green cover and its ability to fight pollution and traffic caused by the increasing heat and dust from the metro work force which will justify anything in its means to keep destroying the city and its natural capital. 6. All the officials involved have been incriminated on several counts in the courts of law, especially at NGT and Supreme Court and High Court. A current contempt proceeding also remains open towards these matters. Yet, nothing is taken seriously by any of them. Tree felling permissions continue to be applied for, they continue to be given despite strong objections raised by all citizens groups and movements. It’s a KPMG & BJP modus operandi to destroy our environment. Today Ganeshkhind Road is a former shadow of itself. The Metro work looms over everything here. 7. Despite the road department, projects department and the Metro Transit functions having made commitments to transplant trees In situ with minimum damage at the same locations preferably. Some or the other excuse is always given and not a single example of a successful transplantation of huge ancient trees along the roads exist. What does exist is gerrymandering of the records and data to keep showing trees as of lesser age, lesser dimensions, lesser numbers than what is actually reflective of reality on the ground. An Open Letter to Governor Alex Otti Alex Otti Dear Sir, I just want to say thank you. Last Thursday, I traveled home to Arochukwu after work in Enugu just to spend the May 1 public holiday the next day. For many people, that might not sound like a big deal. But for those of us from Arochukwu, it is something we haven’t been able to do for years, making a short trip to Arochukwu just for leisure?? You must be an indaboski!!! Before now, traveling home was something we avoided, even during festive periods like Christmas. The road was simply too bad that those of us who dare travel will go from Umuahia to Akwaibom then to Arochukwu. It made journeys stressful, long, and sometimes even risky. Personally, it has been about four years since I last made a trip home. But this time was different. The road from Umuahia to Arochukwu is now smooth, dualized, and truly motorable. People now leave Umuahia by 7 pm and get to Arochukwu by 8 pm. That’s something we couldn’t have imagined not too long ago. People are traveling again. There’s movement, there’s ease, and there’s joy. And for that, I am deeply grateful. This is not just about a road. It is about reconnecting people to their homes, restoring a sense of normalcy, and giving us back something we had almost lost, the freedom to travel without fear or frustration. I am speaking for myself, but I know I am not alone. Many of us from Arochukwu see this, feel this, and appreciate it. We know where we are coming from. We understand that Abia State still has a long way to go after many years without real development. But these steps you are taking, even if they seem small to some, mean a lot to us. They give us hope. We believe you can do even more. We trust that you will continue to work towards rebuilding our state and positioning Abia where it truly belongs. We look forward to seeing our state rise, not just in words, but in real, visible progress until it stands proudly among the best in Nigeria. Thank you for remembering us. Thank you for this road. Thank you for making it possible for people like me to go home again at ease Yours sincerely, Mercy Torty A grateful indigene of Arochukwu

Iran must agree that they will never have a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb. The Hormuz Strait must be immediately open, no tolls, for unrestricted shipping traffic, in both directions. All water mines (bombs), if any, will be terminated (we have removed, through detonation, numerous such mines with our great underwater mine sweepers. Iran will complete the immediate removal and/or detonation of any mines that are left, which will not be many!). Ships caught in the Strait due to our amazing and unprecedented Naval Blockade, which will now be lifted, may start the process of “heading home!” Say HELLO to your wives, husbands, parents, and families from me, your favorite President! The enriched material, sometimes referred to as “Nuclear Dust,” which is buried deep underground with virtually collapsed mountains, caused by our powerful B2 Bomber attack 11 months ago, sitting on top of it, will be unearthed by the United States (which, it is agreed, is the only Country, along with China, with the mechanical capability of doing so!), in close coordination and conjunction with the Islamic Republic of Iran, plus the International Atomic Energy Agency, and DESTROYED. No money will be exchanged, until further notice. Other items, of far less importance, have been agreed to. I will be meeting now, in the Situation Room, to make a final determination. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. Bolt Africa Bolt💔⁉️🇿🇦 I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a Bolt trip during which I was placed in serious danger due to the drvers negligent and unsafe conduct.... I was picked up in Johannesburg and noticed while we were travelling on the N1 towards Randburg that the driver appeared extremely tired. The vehicle repeatedly moved onto the white lane markings, and I had to alert the driver that we were driving on top of the lines..... Shortly afterwards, i observed through the rear-view mirror that the driver was repeatedly closing his eyes while driving. Concerned for my safety, l recorded a video because I intended to report the incident. .... "In the videos attached, you can clearly see that the driver's eyes were closing while he was driving. The footage shows him repeatedly struggling to keep his eyes open, which put my safety and the safety of other road users at risk." The driver's eyes were visibly closing while the vehicle was moving at speed on a busy highway At one point, the driver appeared to fall asleep while driving and the vehicle started moving into other lanes while his eyes were closed. I had to tap his shoulder to wake him up. A few minutes later, I believed he had recovered, but as we approached a traffic light l noticed that the traffic signal was red and the driver was not slowing down. Instead, the vehicle continued accelerating. When I looked again, I saw that his eyes were closed. I immediately tapped him again, but he was unable to avoid a collision and crashed into a Ford vehicle Fortunately, I was seated in the back and was not seriously injured, although! experienced pain in my knee immediately after the collision. The police attended the scene following the accident. What concerns me most is that this accident appears to have been caused by the driver's fatigue and repeated loss of attention while operating the vehicle. leven provided video evidence to the driver of the Ford because the Bolt driver was blaming the other driver despite having fallen asleep behind the wheel Passengers trust Bolt to provide safe transportation. A driver who is too tired to remain awake should not be accepting trips, as this places passengers and other road users at risk of serious injury or death. I request that Bolt conduct a full investigation into this incident, review any available trip data and the video evidence, and take appropriate action regarding the driver's conduct. I would also appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been received and information on the outcome of the investigation.

Ukraine Begins to Be Cut Off from the Black Sea Apparently, Ukraine has gone too far with its attacks on Russian "shadow fleet" ships. The independent country, as we predicted, is starting to be cut off from the Black Sea. Strikes on Ukrainian ports and the entire transport infrastructure of the south of the country are being carried out almost daily. Recently, a bridge in Mayaki, which supports logistics from the Danube ports, was hit. As a result, traffic on the Odessa-Reni highway was stopped. The enemy was forced to set up pontoon crossings. Attacks on the energy sector of the Odessa region are also playing a role. The operation of ports is seriously limited due to constant power outages. And after recent strikes on the "Yuzhny" port (in the video), which resulted in the destruction of a sunflower oil terminal, the reception and dispatch of ships were temporarily suspended. Strikes on the Odessa region are hitting Kiev's wallet hard. Maritime logistics, including the grain corridor through the Black Sea ports and the delivery of goods through the Danube ports, provide a significant part of Ukraine's imports and exports. Thus, about 60 percent of all volumes go through the Danube ports. For agricultural products, maritime corridors accounted for more than 70 percent of exports last year. The effectiveness of Russian strikes is confirmed in the USA. According to the American Chamber of Commerce, the attacks have already reduced the work of port terminals by 50 percent, some of them have been shut down, most are operating on generators. The losses of Ukrainian grain and oilseed exporters are estimated at hundreds of millions of dollars a month. The Americans warn that if the intensive bombing of ports continues, Ukrainian and international businesses will face critical operational risks. According to the Ukrainian Grain Exchange, due to constant air alerts and attacks on Odessa ports, the acceptance and loading of grain is proceeding with significant delays. If in December Ukraine was supposed to ship 3.8 million tons of grain, it actually exported only 1.2 million. Strikes on port infrastructure increase the cost of transshipment, freight, and lead to a decrease in export prices. The enemy is forced to use rail and road transport for grain transportation, which is much more expensive and takes more time. All this directly affects Ukraine's financial stability and deprives it of one of the few sources of income. At this rate, Kiev will soon be left to rely solely on external financial injections. Mackinac County, Michigan. A Michigan State Police (MSP) Motor Carrier Officer (MCO) was in the right place at the right time to safely stop a dangerous wrong-way driver on I-75 in Mackinac County. The driver was subsequently arrested for multiple offenses, including Operating Under the Influence of Drugs. On February 11, 2026, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a BOL (be on the lookout) was issued to local law enforcement by Chippewa County Central Dispatch for a vehicle traveling southbound on I-75 in the northbound lanes. A St. Ignace Post MCO was in the area and began looking for the wrong-way driver. As the MCO approached the Charles-Moran Road overpass, he observed headlights cresting the hill, traveling south in the northbound lanes. The MCO was able to identify that the vehicle was just ahead of him. He did not observe any other traffic, and he was able to position himself on I-75 and activate his emergency lights and his siren as the vehicle came closer. As the vehicle approached the MCO, it slowed but did not come to a complete stop until the MCO yelled at the driver to pull over. The driver gave a shrug and appeared confused but did stop. A subsequent investigation resulted in the woman being arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs (OUID) and Possession of Analogues, as she was in possession of controlled substances (pills) that were not prescribed to her. The woman was lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. On February 12, 2026, 66-year-old Therese Parolini, from South Range, Michigan, was arraigned in the 92nd District Court on charges of OUID and Possession of Analogues. She was given a personal recognizance bond. She is next due in court on February 23, 2026. The defendant is considered innocent unless proven guilty. MSP was assisted by St. Ignace Police Department. “This could have been a tragic incident that was thankfully stopped,” said Lt. Ben Eckola, MSP Eighth District Public Information Officer. “We thank our MCO who made this stop, and all local law enforcement members, who often put their own safety at risk in order to keep the public safe.”

Watch how the national security state talks about AI and you can see the future they are building. They want a system that never blinks. Every person reduced to a pattern that can be searched, flagged, and acted on. They want to collapse the gap between observation and force until the machine can spot you, sort you, and move on you before you have time to understand what is happening. A government that learns to use AI for targeting abroad will use it for sorting, scoring, and monitoring at home. A government that gets comfortable with machine judgment in war will get comfortable with machine judgment in policing, licensing, border enforcement, financial scrutiny, traffic enforcement, and whatever else it decides falls under "public safety." Capability creates appetite. Appetite creates justification. Then the infrastructure settles in and starts looking normal. That is why the surveillance buildout matters so much. The road, the camera pole, the plate reader, the toll scanner, the phone in your pocket, the black box in the dash, the vendor database, the analytics layer sitting above it all. None of this exists in a vacuum. It all becomes useful to the state once the fragments can be pulled together, searched, retained, purchased, subpoenaed, shared, or quietly integrated into the systems government already uses to monitor, flag, and act on people. Driving used to mean distance, anonymity, departure on your own terms. Now every trip leaves a wake that can be funneled upward. Where you went. When you went. How long you stayed. Who was with you. Which route you took when you thought nobody was watching. Homes speak through smart devices. Streets speak through cameras. Phones speak through location data. Purchases speak through payment networks. AI is the system that teaches those fragments how to talk to each other, and government is the customer that benefits most when they do. It pulls private life into administrative visibility, finds the pattern, flags the deviation, and hands institutions an operational picture of your private life. Once that infrastructure settles in, the question becomes how directly the feed reaches the state, how cheaply it can be used against you, and how far the judgment travels after the watching ends. Raw data alone is heavy, messy, and expensive to exploit. AI changes the economics of suspicion. It reduces the labor cost of watching you. It turns millions of otherwise boring signals into ranked alerts, behavioral models, exception reports, and searchable histories. A human officer cannot sit in every passenger seat. A machine can watch every road at once, remember everything, flag whatever deviates from a norm, and hand the state a neat little queue of people to inspect. A company you have never heard of builds the in-cabin monitor. Another stores the data. Another trains the model. Another sells the analytics layer. Another lands the government contract. The state gets the visibility it wants. The vendor gets recurring revenue. The public gets told this is all for safety, insurance optimization, distracted driving reduction, terrorism prevention, or some other phrase engineered to make objections sound antisocial. People still use the word "private" as if that solves everything. It does not. A contractor whose business depends on state demand, state mandates, state integrations, and state favor is functioning as an extension of power with better branding and weaker accountability. And once the state can make companies comply through regulation, licensing, contracting, or procurement, the distinction matters even less. The government does not need to build every sensor with its own hands. It only needs the authority to require that the sensors exist, the leverage to access the outputs, and the political class to call the whole arrangement reasonable. That is where this goes. Your movement becomes legible to institutions that should never have had this level of visibility in the first place. Your car knows where you were. Plate readers know when you arrived. Data brokers know what device traveled with you. Occupancy systems know whether someone was with you. In-cabin analytics estimate what you were doing. AI pulls those fragments together and makes them legible. Visit a protest, a clinic, a church, a gun range, a therapist, a friend going through a divorce, an out-of-the-way meeting with the wrong politics, and suddenly your life is simply a pattern available for government review. The old police state needed manpower. The new one only needs integration. Once this stack is complete, restraint gets mocked as negligence. Objection gets framed as paranoia. Your rights get recoded as an inconvenient friction. Power generalizes. It takes the permission you gave it for one target and reuses it on the rest. Once ordinary objects become informants, our freedom starts dying in plain sight.
