Robert Eggers needs to be added/remembered/mentioned with all the big name directors dropping new films in 2026. This man has yet to direct a film I haven’t loved. In 2026, Eggers is scheduled to release a new film titled Werwulf. You can bet your sweet ass I’ll be there Day 1.

Steven Spielberg. Denis Villeneuve. David Fincher. Christopher Nolan. Alejandro Iñárritu. Those are just a few big-name directors releasing films in 2026. Now add Robert Eggers to that list, who’s releasing Werwulf on Christmas. When I tell you Cinema is back, just take my word.

Robert Eggers is back. He just shared a new still from his upcoming release this December Werwulf, which I posted about an hour ago. I think Eggers is a quintessential filmmaker: he understands and appreciates the importance of the visual. His shots are stunning. They leave an imprint on your memory. 2026 is about to get even better.

This WERWULF trailer looks absolutely brutal. Robert Eggers is taking us back to medieval England for a dark, grimy werewolf tale steeped in folklore, superstition, and pure dread. WERWULF arrives in theaters December 25, 2026. 🐺🩸

Robert Eggers is only 42 & he’s already proven to me that he’s capable of real, boots-on-the-ground filmmaking that harkens back to the ‘70s. Eggers is not of this time, he’s a real director who attends to every detail. The Northman is Exhibit A. Glad Eggers has a new ‘26 release

Lorris Chevalier confirms that Robert Eggers’ WERWULF is set in 1305. He explains he was asked to find out about a cold moon for a particular character’s vestments and how NASA helped him track down the information. (IG: lorris.chevalier)

Robert Eggers says he set ‘WERWULF’ in 1300s England rather than modern day as he wanted a time period where werewolves being real was treated as fact. “Superstitions in this period don’t exist, magic doesn’t exist, it is. All this is [real to them].”

Robert Eggers is blessing us with a new film this year & I’ll always have a special place for Eggers because of The Northman alone, let alone his other great films. The Northman helped usher me out of COVID & back into the theater. It’s also just a straight-up beautiful film about revenge with some of the best visuals I can remember. Eggers, like Denis Villeneuve, recognizes the importance of visuals when it comes to telling stories through Cinema. I’m ready for more.

NEW: Trump gives RFK Jr. a big shoutout at rally—says he’s the one guy who can figure out America’s SOARING autism rates. “Robert F Kennedy Jr, who’s really doing a great—He’s great and he’s a little different, right?” “We needed somebody different.” “We have a statistic on autism that’s the worst I’ve ever seen.” “And he’s going to change it, he’s going to change it.” “It used to be—20 years ago you just didn’t have it.” “And now it’s a number that’s UNBELIEVABLE. Where the numbers are so bad, it’s got to be artificially induced.” “And we’re going to find out what it is, and when, we’re going to find it out as soon as possible.”

.Noa Dalzell 🏀 has one BIG message for Celtics fans: “No reason to panic. 1-1 is not a terrible place to be…This team's been so good on the road…not really worried about them going on the road. Philly is gonna be a tough atmosphere for sure…they've been good with their backs against the wall for years now, right?”

These Nigerian girls, some as young as 16, were trafficked to Ghana for prostitution by a Nigerian man who is a big brother to one of them This will be the future and fate of many South African girls soon if nothing is done about Nigerians in South Africa

Pat Kelsey is on FIRE! Results are all that really matters, but you only get a chance to deliver those four months out of the year. A big part of the Louisville job is giving the fanbase something to be genuinely excited about in the offseason. He’s checked that box for sure.

PabloReports: What do you make of our adversaries using the Epstein files to create this narrative about the war with Iran? Magaziner: Nobody else can seem to figure out why we’re in this stupid war, so I guess that’s as plausible a reason as any. We’re weeks in, Americans have died, gas prices are going through the roof, and the president still can’t tell us why we’re in this war, what the goal is, or how we’re going to get out of it. So their guess is as good as mine.

I don’t know when the WERWULF trailer will drop or what film’s release it’ll be attached to I’m just hoping the trailer will be as great as the one for THE NORTHMAN. We need more trailers that are outside the box like A Serious Man & Bones and All.

One year from now, Tom Cruise might be in a position to finally win the #Oscar for Best Actor. Cruise’s upcoming release Digger is said to be one of his most audacious performances. When Cruise wants to be, he’s as good of a dramatic actor in Hollywood. For example - Collateral.
