Modern warfare can no longer be imagined without drones, and Ukrainian unmanned systems are operating successfully at different levels: from carrying out missions on the frontline to striking important enemy facilities hundreds of kilometers deep inside its territory. All of this is being documented, and it is thanks to the precision and skill of our operators that Russia’s losses have long exceeded 30,000 killed and wounded per month. I thank each and every person serving in the Unmanned Systems Forces, developing Ukrainian technologies, and working for the sake of our advantage on the battlefield. Thank you to everyone who is working to reduce Russia’s capabilities and strengthen our security.

And even those in the world who still do not believe in Ukraine or simply do not know enough about Ukraine, are still forced to reckon with how Ukraine will react. Few states in the world have such weight. Even fewer could really stand against such Russian strikes, assaults, and meanness, from which Ukraine is actually defending itself every day and every night. We are deterring a full-scale Russian invasion. We have been holding back Russian murderers for almost four years of full-scale war – after years of hybrid war – we are keeping them behind the front line. Ukraine exists, and the fate of Ukraine really matters, and the world must reckon with this. I presented state awards to warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, handed over the Order of the Golden Star to the family of a fallen Hero who was awarded this title posthumously, and presented combat flags to the units. The Unmanned Systems Forces are one of Ukraine’s greatest achievements – proof of Ukrainian leadership in technology and in saving lives through technology. The number of Russian targets struck thanks to our Unmanned Systems Forces already reaches hundreds of thousands per year, and over the past year alone – from June to June – it amounts to more than 356,000 Russian targets struck. Thank you! I am proud of every man and woman serving in the Unmanned Systems Forces – from soldiers and sergeants to Magyar and all commanders. And we always remember every Ukrainian warrior who gave their life so that Ukraine can live and remain independent and strong.

I had dozens of conversations with commanders at various levels. I spoke, in particular, with brigade generals Andriy Hnatov, Mykhailo Drapatyi, and Ihor Skybiuk, as well as colonels Pavlo Palisa and Vadym Sukharevskyi. They are all being considered for army leadership positions, and they will be led by Ukraine's most experienced commander. He has successful defensive experience, particularly in the Kyiv defense operation. He also has successful offensive experience, particularly in the Kharkiv liberation operation. I appointed Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is not about surnames, and surely not about politics.
