#Roblox #RobloxDev I have been working on this plugin since the latest EditableImage API update and it's looking pretty good so I decided to show you guys My end goal with this plugin is to be able to quickly adjust textures and eliminate the need to use external programs for smaller tasks. The object also allows you to preview the result before uploading anything to roblox! I can't wait for Roblox to add a way to save EditableImages as usable assets and to make them work with VFX objects like particles and beams, this beta feature has so much potential 🙏

It has been about 45 days since I was laid off at my 6 figure gamedev/engineering job. Here's what I've accomplished since going full time indie gamedev. - Happiness is at all time highs.. The creative excitement I've felt everyday has been amazing! For about 15 days I kind of dabbled around different areas to figure out what I wanted to work on and sink myself into. - I dabbled with VFX authoring in Three.js - I built the basis of an MMO engine in Rust Language and rendered it in Three.js I then decided I wanted to focus on something realistic and get a game out the door that could turn me from wanting to be a full time indie gamedev, to actually doing it, because realistically none of those projects are going to make me a living. I settled on building a Roblox game because I felt I like I could make something pretty unique and cool with a built in userbase. I chose roblox because it has a good platform of discovery for new games, which I think is pretty crucial for indie devs. - I then ported Plume my threejs library for Niagra like VFX to Roblox. - completed the full gameloop for my roblox game. What's featured in the video - Several menu types for kind of figuring out the direction and some placeholder menus - Cross server guilds/parties/queing - Itemization - Loot Tables - Inventory - Character Equipment - Item Upgrading/Leveling - Some interaction polishing - 1 Completed class with actions, unique boss drops, vfx/sfx - Boss State Machines / Encounter Systems - 1 Boss encounter - Everything is server authorative to prevent cheating. - Sound system Over the next 45 days my focus is on finish the last of the systems that will make up the game(solo quest/mission(story) content, monster codex, move raid board/social from the isolated menu you see in the video to the newer full screen menus, leaderboards. Once those systems are complete it will be time to then focus on just creating content so hopefully a few of you out there will come join and play! Ok finally dug into Meta's new Movie Gen paper. Text-to-video is cool and all but, to me the precise editing feature is the game changer. I mean just look at these results 🤯 It can handle complex VFX tasks like replacing environments, doing set extensions, swapping characters, removing items, adding particle effects with realistic lighting interaction. The coolest bit to me is how they trained this model, because paired before/after vfx editing datasets are super scarce. TL;DR They taught it video editing through a clever three-stage process: 1. Started with image editing data, treating it like single-frame video edits. 2. Created synthetic video editing tasks by animating still image edits and using AI models (like SAM and DINO) for object segmentation. 3. The model generated edited videos, and then learned to reconstruct the originals from the edited version Meta calls this "video editing via backtranslation" and the results speak for themselves.

In practice, you’re paying more for less. That’s not innovation - that’s repackaging. In this video, Superbullet demonstrates that it can do the same without a $50/month paywall. Superbullet, on the other hand, is a true Roblox AI game creator. Core features like AI playtesting and live Roblox instance viewing are already available for free. 🥦CREAMY LEMON BROCCOLI CHICKEN SALAD Total: 1055 calories, 109g protein, 36 net carbs 4 servings: 264 calories, 27g protein, 9 net carbs This is one of those ridiculously easy healthy recipes that is so easy and SO good. It’s got crunchy broccoli, finely diced chicken, pistachios, and a creamy lemony dressing that brings things together so nicely. I’ve lost over 140lbs eating high-protein, low-carb meals like this, and this is exactly the kind of easy healthy recipe I make on repeat. This would be great as-is, scooped with low-carb crackers, stuffed into wraps or lettuce cups, or piled onto sourdough if you’re not watching carbs too closely. Here’s how I made it: 1️⃣ Add 3-4 cups of finely chopped broccoli (florets + tender stems) and about 2 cups chopped or shredded rotisserie chicken to a large bowl. Use whatever ratios you like here, just make sure that it’s super finely chopped. Because you want a little bit of everything in each bite. 2️⃣ Add 1/2 finely diced red onion and a large handful of fresh chopped parsley. The parsley is doing a lot of work here, so don’t be shy! Add it to the bowl. 3️⃣ Make the dressing. In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 2-3 tbsp mayo, the zest of 1 lemon, the juice of 1.5 to 2 lemons, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1/2 tbsp olive oil, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well, then taste and adjust. 4️⃣ Pour the dressing over the broccoli and chicken and toss really well so everything is evenly coated. 5️⃣ Let it sit for about 10 minutes so the broccoli softens slightly and the flavors come together. 6️⃣ Finish with 2–3 tbsp chopped pistachios for crunch and another crack of black pepper.
