Robocop the movie was made into an equally impressive Commodore 64 game...with an issue! Released in 1988 by Ocean Software, it was infamous for being rushed out incomplete. On Level 4 (the warehouse/factory stage), the game hits a massive bug where the graphics become completely corrupted and the level is nearly impossible to finish. Developers reportedly lowered the time limit on purpose so most players would never reach the broken part. That aside it was an awesome game, Zzap!64 magazine rated it a solid 89% and described it as "Good blasting fun from the outset. It's tough but it'll keep you hooked" Despite the bugs, the game has excellent visuals for the C64, Robocop himself has great sprite work and the music by Jonathan Dunn, top notch. A genuine request for help from everyone in the game. This video is from a great friend of mine and a huge positive influence on my life Eddie Hughes. He was the referee for a game where he blew the final whistle a few minutes too early and had to bring the players back out on to the pitch from the changing rooms after a lino pointed out his mistake. This was a top flight game in October 1978 Crystal Palace F.C. v Fulham Football Club He has never seen the game and would love to get a copy of the match. He is 90 next year and I would love to give him a chance to watch the game for the first time. Any help from the media would be greatly appreciated.
