The Megadrive/Genesis every time

I agree my friend. I played them back to back and the mega drive version is much more fluid which makes a big difference. The SNES version is still a good play but it falls short.

Megadrive version all day

Genesis is better on so many levels - Graphics, musics, it is fast and action packed while keeping the gore/horror aspects of the original movies.

Mega drive and it’s not even close!

mega drive graphics are simply too good. Its a shame this game is so difficult

Mega Drive version is one of the most graphically stunning games on that console IMO.

I went with the mega drive version on this one, because the Snes one was toned down

I've actually never played the SNES version. But I loved it on Genesis.

I was a SNES owner & Nintendo fan boy but I prefer the look of the Megadrive/Genesis here.

@St1ka I had the SNES version as a kid and loved it but the MD looks faster and that sega sound chip goes crazy lol

@St1ka Mega Drive. I remember magazines praising the SNES version, but I only had the Sega’s console. Later, I played the SNES one with a friend and I was confused: the music was terrible, the visuals looked like a comic instead of the movies aesthetic and the violence was toned down.

Mega Drive. The Super Nintendo game is cccccccropped!

Wonder why they decided to make the versions so different?. Especially in the time when 90% of the time 3rd party games were the same game across the platforms!!

This is similar to the Aladdin debate , where for me personally I favor the SMD one. Never tried these from your post though.

I was a Nintendo kid and I knew even then that the Genesis version was vastly superior.

SEGA games never "sugar coat" violence and gore. Mortal Kombat series is a great example of that.

Megadrive version obliterates the SNES version by miles. Gameplay, sound, visuals and BLOOD.

Mega Drive obviously

Super Nintendo always played it safe with less violence. Sega all day.
