Something that I wasn’t able to truly internalize with Artemis I, due to the night launch, was just how unreal this rocket looks in flight. Like, that thing isn’t supposed to do that. It’s supposed to sit on the pad looking pretty, yet there it is, flying away.

This New Glenn rocket explosion released 20% of the energy of the Hiroshima atomic bomb and that wasn't even the bad part: → The pad: LC-36 is the only pad on Earth that launches New Glenn and now it's gone. Over $1B to build. SpaceX needed 7 months to rebuild after a similar hit. → The deadline: Amazon needs 1,618 satellites up by July 30 to keep its FCC license. It has ~300. The rocket that was supposed to help fix that just blew up twice in a row SpaceX made us believe that landing rockets on barges was a normal expectation. Turns out rocket science is hard after all. Wishing the team a speedy recovery 🚀

🇺🇸 SUPERCUT - BEZOS’ ROCKET GOES BOOM Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket, owned by Jeff Bezos, exploded on the launch pad in Florida. The rocket was supposed to launch a batch of satellites for Amazon's Leo network, which competes with Starlink. Amazon stated that the satellites were not yet on the rocket at the time of the explosion. Blue Origin stated that the rocket encountered an "anomaly." We can see that, lol. So, Starlink remains the only game in town for now

I mean, you can talk about Stoke and ULA and Rocket Lab and Firefly." I think it's fair to say Isaacman is set to usher in a new era for commercial space companies and I believe Rocket Lab is best positioned to benefit from it.
