I genuinly hope it's gonna be nothing like this. Revealing almost 30 minutes of missions is insane and would reveal so much of the game's story that it wouldn't feel that exciting when you actually play the game. It's gonna feel like you've already played the game.

Wait if this came before the RDR2 game then i believe Arthur’s death was foreshadowed in his singing. “And when i dieeee don’t bury me… blah blah blah sky.” (Kinda difficult to make out what John is singing.) And also, notice how he’s riding through a mountain terrain. This can’t be coincidental, can it?

Something I noticed in the Extended Look is that pretty much all the cutscenes are filmed in a handheld-style. GTA 5 had a mix per character, whereas with GTA 6 it appears to be primarily handheld, with it being more shaky/erratic in more tense situations. [1/4]

Tom Henderson and the Insider Gaming guys talk about the GTA 6 leaks and the theories that this all part of Rockstar’s marketing. They also discuss the impact it could have on the extended look dropping on Netflix. I know one thing, there is no way this is intentional from Rockstar, not a chance. They wouldn’t want us to see it unfinished like this. And I genuinely believe the extended look will completely wash all this away.

Alex from Digital Foundry says that Rockstar Games are being disingenuous in calling parts of GTA 6 trailer 2 gameplay. “We wouldn’t ever allow other developers to describe things like this as gameplay” Personally i completely disagree. It doesn’t need a fixed camera position in third person to be classified as a gameplay. Does that mean if I go into cinematic camera mode in red dead redemption 2 that it’s not gameplay anymore? What do you think?

The only game that tops Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of overall realism will be GTA 6 Not visually of course, but everything. From the character movement, the realistic environments, random events, ragdoll physics, wildlife interacting with each other and also how NPCs naturally react depending on the player's actions. Its still crazy to me that this has yet to be topped by any other game studio except Rockstar Games themselves, RAGE engine is truly in a league of its own.

I think that a lot of gamers who haven't played Red Dead Redemption 2 before going into GTA 6 will be mind-blown by how much you can mess with NPCs and have branching conversations with them by using the Greet/Antagonize feature. Rockstar Games has obviously worked on this game mechanic even, making it even better and more realistic so I'm pretty sure that even gamers which have played Red Dead Redemption 2 before will still be fascinated, I for one can't wait to talk to random NPCs like this.

One of the Grand Theft Auto V downsides was that it didn't match GTA IV in terms of euphoria ragdoll physics, in this example here you can see how easily the NPCs die when you shoot them on the foot. Part of the reason why I believe the euphoria engine was downgraded was due to the scale of GTA V and that it was designed for PS3/Xbox 360 consoles. Fast Forward a generation later, Red Dead Redemption 2 is much better compared to this, but I still prefer the one in Grand Theft Auto IV. When GTA VI comes out, perhaps we will see a more improved version of euphoria ragdoll physics which will be a mix of both GTA IV style ragdolls and Red Dead Redemption 2.

This is a really cool side by side video of the two versions of this ride. When you look at it like this, Bayou Adventure isn’t as bad compared to Splash as many people make it out to be. The issue is that this is the Disneyland version which doesn’t have as much dead space because it’s a little shorter than the one at WDW. If they could flesh out Floridas a little more, it would be even better.

I also wasn't shocked when I found out it runs on its own proprietary engine because the visuals look truly different and unique from what I'm used to after playing a ton of UE5 games that have a similar look, hopefully the use of its proprietary engine also means a good performance with a high resolution. So far from what I've seen, this game looks stunning and sometimes I feel like it is too good to be true, I can't wait to get my hands on it and see if it lives up to all of this. This could actually be one of GOTY contenders for 2026.

I analyzed The GTA 6 Extended Look frame by frame and this clip right here blew my mind. Since we know for a fact that the footage was captured on a base PS5, the number of NPCs is quite high even for a base console. Thanks to this uncompressed version of the extended look, I was able count over 102 NPCs in this whole shot (could be even more) Truly a technical marvel that Rockstar Games pulled here, I'll go touch some grass now

All the moments in Trailer 2 that I think are actually gameplay. Not straight-up raw gameplay, but scenes that look like they’re running in real time just with tweaked camera angles or that cinematic in-game camera Rockstar loves to use. It feels less like pre-rendered footage and more like gameplay dressed up to look like a movie. A lot of these shots have that natural movement and detail you usually only get when it’s being rendered live, which makes me think we’re seeing the actual game just presented in a more polished, cinematic way.

Roger Clark has stated in an interview with Cade Onder that he has never met or spoken to Sam Houser, and that he actually only ever spoke to Dan Houser on two occasions across the 5 years that he worked on Red Dead Redemption 2. Dan Houser apparently wanted to separate Arthur from Roger in his mind. I love hearing these behind-the-scenes tidbits and I also adore hearing about different people’s creative processes. Every individual is so unique, and it’s awesome to hear a little bit more about what went into creating Red Dead Redemption 2 and how Rockstar functions. Awesome video by the GOAT Cade Onder Rod Edge was the person who would direct the cast on set. It’s likely that this is the case for GTA 6 too. Man, I can’t wait to hear about the game’s production after it comes out.
