Denis Shapovalov on State of the One-Handed Backhand on Tour “In a way it’s a strength because you can definitely generate more power, can get sharper angles, and be more flashy/creative with a one-handed backhand. But, in today’s game it’s very much heading towards the way of having a solid two-handed backhand and generating with the forehand. The game is so quick today, it helps to have that extra arm on the backhand. That’s why it’s so much more rare to see guys that have one-handed backhands….I blame Roger Federer, I grew up watching him and wanted to play like him so that’s def a big reason why I have a one-hander” 😅

I am so fortunate to still play tennis at my age. But there sure is a lot of (completely worth it) prep work involved! Here's some background on my pre-tennis routine from this video: 1. Put on two braces: one on each knee 2. Switch to my tennis glasses, and l always carry a backup pair with me, just in case. One pair is a throwback to my favorite pair from the 1970s 3. Wear gloves, both to protect my hands from sun, and also to help with carpal tunnel 4. Use exercise bands to warm up shoulders, triceps, and biceps for forehands/ backhands. 60 reps for each 5. Perform 20 squats + stretching. And an important tip: Watch the ball all the way to the contact point. At the pro level, 50% of balls are missed because of not watching the ball all the way to the contact point. At the rec level, it's 90%. Get out there and play!

Elden Ring: Nightreign | Gameplay Overview Releasing exactly two weeks from today. ▫️ The overall structure of the map will not change from run to run - this includes Sites of Grace, cave entrances, and major geographical features. ▫️ Points of interest, rewards, bosses, and mini-bosses will be randomized each run however. ▫️ World Events can take place at the start of your run.
